The Local Government Unit of Rizal Joint Inspection Team (JIT) successfully conducted the Coordination Meeting, today, March 4, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte, .
The meeting was attended by the members of the Joint Inspection Team of Rizal, Zamboanga del Norte, as created under Executive Order No. 044, Series of 2025. The primary objective of the coordination meeting was to refine inspection methods and elevate the standards by which inspections are conducted in the municipality.
Ms. Jovelyn S. Serencio, Business Permits and Licensing Officer (BPLO) and Chairperson of the Joint Inspection Team, presided over the meeting. She emphasized the importance of aligning inspection procedures with Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018) and Joint Memorandum Circular No. 1, highlighting that inspections must be conducted with diligence and integrity, as they serve as the core basis for the renewal of business permits.
Mr. Lenin Marc H. Ramos, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO), also underscored the need for strict compliance with the mandates of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), and other concerned national government agencies.
As part of the modernization initiative, Ms. Serencio introduced the use of KoboToolbox, a digital data collection system that will streamline the inspection process, facilitate easier submission of reports, and ensure efficient consolidation of inspection results across concerned departments.
With unity and accountability, we strengthen compliance, modernize our methods, and build a standardized and trustworthy inspection system for the Municipality of Rizal.
