LOOK | KKDK GRADUATION CEREMONY AT RODRIGUEZ MUNICIPAL JAIL 🎓

Rodriguez, Rizal — Rodriguez Municipal Jail Male and Female Dormitory successfully conducted the Katatagan, Kalusugan at Damayan ng Komunidad (KKDK) Graduation Ceremony today, with a total of 24 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) completing the program, composed of 13 male and 11 female PDLs.

The KKDK program is a community-based recovery and rehabilitation program designed to help individuals recover from substance use through psycho-educational sessions, emotional support, and values formation. It aims to strengthen personal resilience, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage positive behavioral change among participants as they prepare for reintegration into society.

The activity was made possible under the leadership of JSINSP LUIS G FIGUERAS, Municipal Warden of Male Dormitory, and JINSP MARJORIE ENGAÑO-AZCUNE, Acting Municipal Warden of Female Dormitory.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Rodriguez, Rizal, Mayor General Ronnie S. Evangelista (Ret.), who served as the event’s Guest of Honor & Speaker, represented by Ptr. Bobby T. Lucero, Head of the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC).

Adding meaning to the occasion, parents and relatives of the PDL graduates were also present, witnessing the significant milestone their loved ones had achieved and showing their continued support in their journey toward recovery and transformation.

The KKDK program at the jail facility was facilitated by SJO1 Anita F Teodoro, KKDK Facilitator, whose dedication and guidance helped participants complete the program successfully.

The graduation ceremony highlighted the commitment of this jail unit to support the holistic rehabilitation of PDLs, empowering them with the knowledge, values, and support needed to become productive members of the community upon their release.

Ang regular na eskedyul ng face-to-face visitation (dalaw) at paabot ay magpapatuloy sa ika-11 ng Abril 2026 (Sabado).
