This year, the Local Government of Island Garden City of Samal strengthens its support to our Samal Waves Delegation to the DAVRAA 2026 with an appropriated budget charged from the Special Education Fund of 8,790,000.00 Million. This goes to show how the City Government has prioritized youth, education, and sports in realizing the city's development.

With the passage of the Resolution, we look forward that the construction and operationalization of the Samal Island City Public Library will become one of the administration's legacy projects. With a public library, knowledge and education become more accessible to Samalenyos 24/7.

As Vice Chairperson for Education, we are committed to legislate policies that puts Education a priority in our government vision. We are hopeful that City Mayor Toto Reyes will support this vision.
