To reinforce our commitment to strengthen system performance and data protection, a scheduled preventive maintenance will be conducted on the Clearance Processing and Issuance System (CPIS) and its internal NBI sub-systems. Online clearance processing services will be temporarily suspended from August 28, 2026, at 5:00 PM until August 31, 2026.

Normal operations will resume immediately following the completion of the maintenance activity.

This is pursuant to Proclamation No. 1397, declaring August 28, 2026 a Special (Non-Working) Day in the Municipality of San Agustin, Romblon.

SUSPENSION OF WORK AND CLASSES | AUGUST 18, 2026

Dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan at masamang lagay ng panahon, suspendido ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, gayundin ang trabaho sa lahat ng government offices , ngayong Agosto 18, 2026.

Ang suspensyon ay ipinatutupad bilang pag-iingat para sa kaligtasan at kapakanan ng lahat, lalo na sa patuloy na pag-ulan na maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha, madulas na mga kalsada, at iba pang panganib.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling alerto at maingat, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso at updates hinggil sa lagay ng panahon.

Para sa mga private workplaces, ang work arrangement ay nasa discretion ng kanilang respective head.

01 Mayo 2026 โ€“ Pormal na ipinagkaloob ni Cong. Budoy ang dalawang (2) laptop at isang (1) printer, para sa NBI Clearance Center sa Bayan ng San Agustin bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagtutulungan upang mas mapabuti ang kakayahan ng NBI sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.

Ang naturang kagamitan ay opisyal na tinanggap ni NBI San Agustin Center OIC, Roxanne V. Guntan, MPA, kasama ang kanyang masisipag na kasamahan.

Layunin ng pagkakaloob na ito na higit pang suportahan ang mobile clearance operations ng NBI. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas mailalapit sa ating mga kababayan ang maayos at mabilis na proseso ng pagkuha ng clearance, dito mismo sa loob ng ating Probinsiya.

Ang hakbang na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng pamahalaan at mga institusyon upang matiyak ang pantay at tapat na serbisyo publiko para sa kapakanan ng lahat, lalo na ng mga komunidad na higit na nangangailangan sa buong Lalawigan.

PRESS RELEASE: | NBI ASSURES PUBLIC: TEMPORARY DISRUPTION OF ONLINE SERVICES DUE TO SYSTEM TRANSITION

Pasay City , Philippines-- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) informs the public that its official website and several online services are currently experiencing temporary downtime due to an ongoing transition between internet service providers.

Earlier today, access to the NBI website (nbi.gov.ph), including the Online Clearance Application Portal and official email services, was disrupted.

According to the NBI Technology and Infrastructure Division (TIND), the interruption occurred during the agencyโ€™s migration to a new internet provider. In simple terms, the issue involves the system that directs users to the correct NBI servers online. During the transition, the connection from the previous provider was unexpectedly cut before the new system was fully activated, causing the services to go offline.

The affected services include:

โ€ข Online Clearance Application Portal
โ€ข Internal and External Email Systems

At present, NBI technical teams are working continuously to restore full service. The agency is also closely coordinating with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to ensure proper system configuration and prevent further disruptions.

NBI Director Atty. Melvin D. Matibag assured the public that the disruption is purely technical in nature and not the result of any security breach, emphasizing that the agencyโ€™s systems remain secure. He added that teams are working around the clock to restore all services as soon as possible and appealed for the publicโ€™s patience and understanding as the NBI completes the transition toward a more stable and improved digital infrastructure.

The NBI will provide updates as soon as services are fully restored.

For urgent concerns, the public is advised to coordinate with the nearest NBI office.
