Yesterday was more than just a storytelling and feeding activity. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and hope.

The San Carlos City Library spent time with our evacuees from Barangay Aponit and Barangay Guelew, who were affected by the recent flooding.

Seeing them smile, laugh, and enjoy the stories and food made our hearts full. ๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ Despite everything they have been throughโ€”the fear, the uncertainty, and the loss brought by the floodโ€”they still found reasons to smile.

For a while, we were able to give them a little break from what they were going through. We shared stories, shared food, and most importantly, shared moments that reminded them that they are not alone. ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿฒ๐Ÿค—

Their smiles may seem like a small thing, but yesterday, they meant everything to us.

In times of calamity, we may not be able to take away all their worries, but we can be there, listen, share, and bring a little happiness. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday possible. Your kindness means so much. Together, letโ€™s continue to bring hopeโ€”one story, one meal, and one smile at a time.
