On 04 March 2024, PAF personnel from the 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony ICOW National Women’s Month Celebration 2024 at Wallace Air Station and at the City Hall Building, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The National Women's Month Celebration serves to recognize and honor the contributions and achievements of women throughout history and contemporary society. It aims to raise awareness on issues affecting women, promote gender equality, and advocate women's rights.
In his message, the CSAFP, GENERAL ROMEO S BRAWNER JR PA urged every soldier, airman, airwoman, sailor, marine, and civilian human resource to work together in making changes for women and in institutionalizing gender equality, which has a transformative effect on fully functioning communities and societies.
