Amidst the pouring rain brought about by “habagat”, the Office of the Vice Governor Eric O Sibuma conducted the feeding program at Barangays Sta. Lucia and Samara of Aringay, La Union two of the brgys often struck by flooding.

The Honorable Governor Mario Eduardo C Ortega delivered his State of the Province Address during the 57th Regular Session of the Sagguniang Panlalawigan presided by Honorable Vice Governor Eric O Sibuma.

The SOPA was attended by the two District Representatives of La Union, Cong. Paolo Ortega and Cong. Dante Garcia, the two Party-list Representatives, Cong Mila Magsaysay of the United Senior Citizens and Cong Paolo Kenneth Tereng of KM Party-List, the Barangay Officials, Municipal and City Officials headed by the Mayors, PGLU Employees.

Their attendance showed unity and support for the betterment of the Province and the entire ElYunity…❤️❤️❤️

The Governor’s SOPA was well applauded because of the accomplishments and achievements the administration had accomplished during its one-year in service. 👏👏👏

❤️RED SEAL AWARDING CEREMONY❤️

The first provincial-level Resilience in Emergency and Disaster Sustainable and Ecologically Adaptive LGUs ( RED SEAL) Awarding Ceremony was conducted today at the Speaker Pro Tempore Francisco I Ortega Convention Center.

This awarding ceremony recognizes the LGUs in the Province with distinguished initiative in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management particularly in prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, rehabilitation and recovery during disaster. It is a program aimed in giving recognition to LGUs innovation, sustainability, and governance to LGUs in times of disaster aimed at its advocate "Leaving No One Behind".

The RED SEAL awardees are as follows:
Gold Award - City of San Fernando
Silver Award - Naguilian
Bronze Award - Bacnotan

All the other LGUs were give plaques of recognition for their being RED SEAL.

The Office of the Vice Governor Eric O. Sibuma headed by Hon. Eric O Sibuma had a dialogue with the principal, teachers and parents of the San Eugenio Elementary School in Aringay, La Union. The Baranagay Officials headed by Punong Barangay Lorma L. Sibuma also joined. These tri-meeting aimed to give students better educational learning to the students.Programs and projects were discussed thereby coming up with more collaborations for the betterment of the students.

Feeding program and distribution of medicines as well as cleaning materials were also conducted as part of the monthly outreach program of the office of the Vice Governor.

The San Eugenio Elementary School is the beloved Vice Governor Eric O Sibuma's alma mater and San Eugenio is his first training ground to becoming a public servant serving as their Punong Barangay. Proud and honored to produce the now second father of the Province of La Union.
