As of 5:24 AM today, August 8, 2026, Romblon is under an Orange Rainfall Warning, indicating the threat of heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides.

In view of this, the Odiongan Water District (OWD) urges all concessionaires to store an adequate supply of water for essential household needs. Flooding, erosion, and other weather-related incidents may affect water sources and distribution facilities and may result in temporary water service interruptions.

Concessionaires are also advised to ensure that all water storage containers are clean and properly covered to maintain the safety and quality of stored water.

Please remain vigilant and monitor official updates from the Odiongan Public Information Office (PIO), OWD, and other concerned government agencies regarding the weather situation and possible impacts on water service.

OWD personnel have been deployed and are on standby to respond to water service concerns and undertake necessary measures should any interruption occur.

The District continues to monitor the situation and will issue further advisories as necessary.
