SAN JOSE MDRRMO immediately deployed its emergency response team after receiving a report of a motorcycle accident in brgy Ponglon , at approximately 1:43 PM on August 6, 2026. The incident involved one (1) victim.

Upon arrival at the scene, responder promptly assessed the victim condition, administer initial medical care, and safely transported the patient to Tigaon Infirmary Hospital for further evaluation and appropriate medical treatment.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of San Jose proudly celebrates the remarkable dedication, teamwork, and commitment of our Emergency Responders and Incident Management Team during the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) Culminating Activity held on July 31,2026.

Representing District 4 of Camarines Sur, our team proudly showcased its skills, preparedness, and operational excellence, earning the title of 1st Runner-Up in the Incident Command and Response Challenge among the participating municipalities of Sagñay, Goa, Logonoy, Tigaon, Presentacion, Tinambac, Siruma, Caramoan, and San Jose.

Through this outstanding performance, District 4 earned the opportunity to compete against the other districts of Camarines Sur in the next level of the competition.

Beyond the competition, our responders successfully completed the challenging 14.5-kilometer Rescue March from Camaligan to the Camarines Sur Capitol, demonstrating exceptional endurance, descipline, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to protecting lives and serving our community.

This achievement reflects the continous efforts of MDRRMO San Jose in strengthening disaster preparedness, enhancing emergency response capabilities, and building a more resilient San Jose.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our responders, coaches, organizers, partner agencies, and to Hon. Jerold Peña for his steadfast support, leadership, and encouragement that made this accomplishment possible.

📢 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026

In line with NDRRMC Memorandum No. 15, Series of 2026, the Local Government of San Jose, Camarines Sur, through MDRRMO and BFP San Jose Fire Station, successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter NSED 2026 at Palale Elementary school and Villafuerte-Peña High School on June 18, 2026, at 8:00 A.M.

The drill aimed to strengthen preparedness and improve response during earthquakes and other emergencies, promoting safety and readiness in schools and communities.
