Quezon City – The Joint Information Operation Task Group – National Capital Region (JIOTG-NCR), led by LTCOL HENRY O SABIJON PN(M), successfully participated in a Medical Mission-held today, 10 0900 January 2026, at the Barangay Hall of Brgy Pag-ibig sa Nayon, Quezon City

The initiative provided essential healthcare services to residents, underscoring the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ commitment to community welfare and civil-military cooperation. Services included eye check-ups, Pap smears, dental consultations, maternal and child care, and the distribution of wheelchairs to qualified beneficiaries. These efforts addressed immediate healthcare needs, particularly among vulnerable sectors, while promoting preventive care and overall well-being of not less than 425 civilian beneficiaries.

During the activity, MGEN GREGORIO HERNADEZ PN(M), Commander of NCRCOM AFP, expressed his gratitude to the participating units, emphasizing the importance of civic-oriented service. He highlighted that such missions bring much-needed assistance to the less fortunate constituents of Quezon City, ensuring access to free medical consultations and medicines.

The medical mission was made possible through the support and sponsorship of the A. Bonifacio Business Association (ABBA) and the Rotary Club of Makati, whose partnership with NCRCOM reflects a shared vision of nation-building.

This civic action underscores NCRCOM’s continuing role in strengthening partnerships and supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life of communities within the National Capital Region.
