Empowering young girls through knowledge and awareness. 👧

Photos taken during the Information and Education Campaign (IEC) in celebration of Girl Child Week, held on March 25, 2026 at Luzcon Integrated School.

The activity was conducted by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office through the support of Mayor Ana Cristina Siquian Go together with a representative from the Philippine National Police to educate and inspire students about their rights, protection, and the importance of empowering every girl in the community.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to create a safe space where young girls can learn, grow, and confidently pursue their dreams.

Woman Who Cares, Meal That Heals 🩷 🍽️

In celebration of National Women’s Month, a l Distribution of Meals was held at the San Mariano Community Hospital last March 19, 2026, bringing comfort and nourishment to patients and their families.

Together with the dedicated LGU Department Heads, this simple yet meaningful activity showed how women lead with compassion, service, and care for the community. Each meal shared was not just food on the table, but a reminder that kindness and support can help in healing.

A warm thank you to everyone who made this initiative possible especially with the support of Mayor Ana Cristina Go.

At the Annual Ministerial Dialogue of the Group of Friends on Gender Parity, with Annalena Baerbock, President of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, we reflected on Advancing Gender Balance in Global Leadership: Reflections on the 2026 Secretary General Selection.

There is no greater act of justice that the United Nations can deliver today than to unite and finally elect its first female Secretary General.

Our call to action is clear:
1. Make gender commitment and experience a major criterion in the Secretary General selection process.
2. Select a Secretary General with strong grounding in equitable development, peace and security, climate action, and the responsible use of technology.
3. Ensure robust engagement of women’s civil society organizations in candidate dialogues.
4. Choose a Secretary General with a clear strategy to address:
- the UN’s financial constraints,
- rising geopolitical tensions, and
- the growing credibility gap between the UN, Member States, and the public.

The moment calls for leadership that is inclusive, transformative, and reflective of the people the UN serves.

The Local Government Unit of San Mariano, Isabela, under the leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐨 proudly achieved 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟑 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 in the 𝐓𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐓 (Tulong Angkop sa PAntawid) Assessment of the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), covering Calendar Year 2025.

This recognition affirms the municipality’s strong and effective implementation of programs and services that support 4Ps beneficiary households.

Patuloy na isinasagawa ang Food Redemption Activity sa ilalim ng DSWD Walang Gutom Program na nagsimula kahapon, March 10, hanggang March 12,2026 para sa 466 beneficiaries ng bayan.

Bahagi din ng aktibidad ang Oath of Adherence, BBM Serbisyo registration, at beneficiary profiling upang mapalawak ang oportunidad sa kabuhayan ng mga benepisyaryo.

Isinasagawa ang programang ito sa suporta ni Mayor Ana Cristina Siquian Go, bilang patuloy na pagtutulungan ng lokal na pamahalaan at ng DSWD upang matiyak na maabot ang mga pamilyang nangangailangan.

Sama-sama nating isulong ang layunin na walang pamilyang magugutom.

The Provincial Government of Isabela, under the leadership of Governor Rodito Albano III and Vice Governor Kiko Dy, distributed vegetable seeds, monitored the previously distributed chicken starters, and conducted a milk-feeding program for children aged two years and below, as well as for lactating mothers, in Old San Mariano, San Mariano, Isabela, yesterday, March 4, 2026, with the support and coordination to Local Government Unit of San Mariano headed by Hon. Ana Cristina S. Go through the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Municipal Health Office (MHO), and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWD).
