The Local Government Unit of San Remigio proudly recognizes the seven (7) student interns from the University of Antique for successfully completing their 600-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) program at the Office of the Municipal Engineer.

Throughout their internship, they demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to learning while gaining valuable hands-on experience in engineering-related public service. Their contributions, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn have been greatly appreciated by the personnel of the Municipal Engineering Office and the entire LGU family.

This recognition is awarded in appreciation of their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to service during their internship period. May the knowledge, skills, and experiences they have gained serve as a strong foundation for their future careers and endeavors.

Base sa miting kang nagligad nga May 26, 2026, dya nga tikang nagatuyo nga malikawan ang mga estudyante sa delikado nga biyahe kag pabalik-balik nga gasto sang mga ginikanan halin sa marayu nga mga lugar.

Luwas sa bag-o nga curriculum, gin-isturyahan man kang board ang husto nga pag-plastar kang Special Education Fund (SEF) para sa mga pasilidad kang mga eskwelahan, renewal kag hiring kang mga LSB Teachers, kag ang pag-plastar kang mga mapuslanon nga aktibidad para sa kaaraydan kang mga kabataan.

Dya nagapamatuod lang nga ang kaaram kag bwasdamlag kang kabataan amo gid ang bida kag nagapanguna nga prayoridad kang Local Government Unit kang San Remigio.

The Local Government Unit of San Remigio officially commenced the month with its 1st Flag Raising Ceremony, sponsored by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO). The activity gathered municipal officials and employees in a renewed commitment to unity, discipline, environmental stewardship, and dedicated public service.

Together, let us continue working towards a cleaner, greener, and more progressive San Remigio. 🌿

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰: 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜

The Basketball Sports Clinic conducted by St. Robert International College in collaboration with the LGU of San Remigio concluded successfull today, at the Senator B**g Go Gymnasium, Poblacion, San Remigio, Antique.

The event brought together aspiring young athletes of San Remigio for learning, skills development, and sportsmanship. Through this initiative, participants strengthened their basketball fundamentals, enhanced their skills, and developed discipline, teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence. These valuable learnings will help prepare them for future competitions and tournaments, especially the upcoming 6th Mayor’s Cup Basketball Tournament.

A heartfelt thank you to all the trainers, participants, parents, LYDO staff, and made this activity success. Your commitment to empowering the youth through sports continues to inspire and create opportunities for young athletes to grow and excel.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐓𝐖𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍-𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘

Today marks another milestone as the two completed projects under the 𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗔 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗜 Program were officially turned over to the communities of Barangay Magdalena and Barangay Baladjay.

The turnover ceremony was officiated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI represented by Tiffanie Jane Cabaluna, PDO II, and Noelyn Kate O. Cabreras, PDO I, in partnership with the LGU Headed by Mayor Mar C. Mission Jr. and the MSWDO headed by Rosa Ela M. Sastrillo.

Also present during the activity were Hon. John Michael H. Mission SK Federation President and the Benefeciaries of Barangay Magdalena and Barangay Baladjay who expressed their full support for the successful implementation of the program.

This meaningful collaboration reflects the shared commitment of empowering communities, strengthening sustainable livelihood initiatives, and improving the lives of the beneficiaries through the Lawa at Binhi Program.

The Sustainability Training of the LAWA at BINHI Program was successfully conducted at the Civic Center, Poblacion, San Remigio, with the active participation of beneficiaries from the five barangays — Barangay Cadolonan, Bugo, Barangbang, Nagbangi I, and San Rafael.

The activity aimed to empower beneficiaries and communities with knowledge and strategies in promoting sustainable practices, environmental protection, and community development for a greener and better future.

A successful distribution of Food Assistance was conducted for 800 San Remigionhon women through the efforts of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

This meaningful initiative brought support, hope, and assistance to deserving beneficiaries in the community.
