Ang tanang residente sa Barangay San Vicente ginapahinumduman nga hugot nga gidili ang pagsunog sa basura, uga nga dahon, plastik, ug uban pang solid waste.

Ayaw na pagsunog sa basura tungod kay adunay regular nga garbage collection sa atong lungsod. Gihangyo usab ang tanan nga magbuhat og husto nga waste segregation. Ang atong barangay adunay Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) diin mahimong dalhon o iproseso ang mga recyclable ug uban pang masigka nga basura.

Ang pagsunog sa basura makadaot sa kahimsog, makapahinabo og polusyon sa hangin, ug makadugang sa risgo sa sunog.

Subay sa Republic Act No. 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000) ug Republic Act No. 8749 (Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999), gidili ang open burning sa solid waste. Ang mga molapas mahimong kasuhan, pagmultahan, ug mapahamtangan og silot sumala sa balaod.

Isip kabahin sa 4 O'Clock Habit batok sa dengue, imbis magsunog sa mga dahon ug basura, maggahin og pipila ka minuto matag adlaw sa pagpanglimpyo sa inyong palibot ug pagwagtang sa mga posibleng itloganan sa lamok, sama sa paghubas sa nagbarog nga tubig, pagtabon sa mga sudlanan sa tubig, ug hustong paglabay sa mga butang nga mahimong tigomanan sa tubig-ulan.

Police Community Information Drive Successfully Conducted

Barangay San Vicente extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine National Police โ€“ Malitbog Municipal Police Station for successfully conducting the Police Community Information Drive held on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

The activity was led by PCPT Analee A. Gaviola, Acting Chief of Police, who served as the resource speaker and discussed important topics on Anti-Illegal Drugs, Crime Prevention, RA 9344 (Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act), and Road Safety. The information drive aimed to strengthen public awareness, promote peace and order, and encourage community participation in maintaining a safer barangay.
