HAPPENING NOW | Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, visits the PSA Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to ensure that its field offices are effectively managed and adequately supported.

Together with PSA Negros Island Region OIC Regional Director John F. Campomanes, Usec. Mapa personally conducted a spot check at the Negros Occidental PSO to assess its operational needs and strengthen infrastructural and human resource support from the Central Office. This initiative aims to further enhance the PSO’s capacity to deliver efficient and responsive public services to the people of Negros Occidental.

This visit reflects the PSA’s unwavering commitment to continuously improving its services and bringing them closer to every Filipino nationwide. 🇵🇭

PANOORIN | PSA personal na nagkaloob ng libreng birth certificate sa isang Negrenseng senior citizen

Sa pamamagitan ng Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), isang proyekto ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na naglalayong tulungang makapagparehistro ng kapanganakan ang mga kapatid nating Muslim, Lumad, at mga Pilipinong kabilang sa economically disadvantaged communities, personal na nagtungo ngayong araw si PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, kasama si PSA Negros Island Region OIC Regional Director John F. Campomanes sa tahanan ni Nanay Lourdes J. Batulay.

Si Nanay Lourdes ay isang centenarian na napagkalooban ng PSA sa unang pagkakataon ng kopya ng kanyang birth certificate. Ayon sa kanyang anak na si Irenea B. Perez, gagamitin ito ng kanilang pamilya sa pag-claim ng mga benepisyo ni Nanay Lourdes bilang isang senior citizen.

Isa lamang ito sa mahigit kalahating milyong Pilipinong natulungan na ng PSA na makapagparehistro sa tulong ng BRAP. Ang proyektong ito ay patuloy na ipinatutupad ng PSA sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa upang siguruhing rehistrado ang kapanganakan ng bawat Pilipino, alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

READ | 100-Year-Old Negrense Receives Birth Certificate Through PSA’s Birth Registration Assistance Project

At 100 years old, Lourdes J. Batulay of the Municipality of Ilog, Negros Occidental, finally secured a copy of her birth certificate printed on Security Paper (SECPA) for free through the Philippine Statistics Authority’s (PSA) Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) held on 29 May 2026 at her own municipality.

Aligned with the overall agenda of the Philippine government to bring public services closer and faster to every Filipino, Usec. Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, together with PSA Negros Island Region OIC Regional Director John F. Campomanes, personally handed over the birth certificate to Nanay Lourdes.

This milestone highlights PSA’s continuing efforts to ensure that every Filipino’s birth is registered, and that they are provided legal identity.

TINGNAN | Isang 100-year old na senior citizen, napagkalooban ng libreng birth certificate ng PSA sa tulong ng Birth Registration Assistance Project

Ibinahagi ni Irenea B. Perez, anak ni Nanay Lourdes J. Batulay, isang centenarian na nakapagparehistro sa tulong ng Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) sa Ilog, Negros Occidental, ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng birth certificate na siyang nagsisilbing patunay ng kapanganakan at pagkakakilanlan ng isang indibidwal.

Aniya, para sa kanyang ina na isang senior citizen at centenarian, mahalagang rehistrado ang kapanganakan para sa pag-claim ng mga benepisyong ipinagkakaloob ng pamahalaan sa mga senior citizens.

Upang personal na ipagkaloob ang birth certificate ni Nanay Lourdes, personal na binisita ni PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, kasama ni PSA Negros Island Region OIC Regional Director John F. Campomanes si Nanay Lourdes. Bahagi ito ng isinagawang aktibidad ng PSA sa naturang munisipalidad ngayong araw.

Ang BRAP ay alinsunod sa kabuuang plano ng gobyerno na siguruhing rehistrado ang kapanganakan ng bawat Pilipino, lalo’t higit ng mga kapatid nating Muslim, mga Lumad, at mga Pilipinong nabibilang sa economically disadvantaged areas.

LOOK | The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully disseminated the Key Indicators of the 2025 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) through the National and Regional Dissemination Fora in March and May 2026.

In his message, PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, emphasized the vital role of the 2025 NDHS in informing population and health policies and programs. He noted that the survey’s shift to a triennial cycle beginning in 2025 allows for more timely monitoring of key indicators aligned with the midterm updating of the Philippine Development Plan (PDP).

Usec. Mapa also underscored the importance of high-quality data in guiding evidence-based, responsive, and inclusive development planning.

On 29 May 2026, residents of Barangay Pilitan, Tumauini, Isabela benefited from a National ID Registration and IEC Campaign, making it easier for them to register and learn about the advantages of the National ID system without the need to travel far from their homes.

This initiative reflects PSA-Isabela’s commitment to ensuring that no Filipino is left behind by making government services more accessible, inclusive, and citizen-centered.

Pinatunayan ni Ginang Evelyn F. Faustino, residente ng Barangay Pilitan, Tumauini, Isabela, na malaking tulong ang National ID sa pagpapadali ng mga transaksyong nangangailangan ng valid proof of identity.

Ayon sa kanya, mas nagiging mabilis at maginhawa ang iba’t ibang proseso kapag may National ID. Dahil dito, hinihikayat niya ang kanyang mga kamag-anak at kapwa residente na magparehistro sa isinasagawang National ID Mobile Registration sa kanilang barangay.

Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., patuloy na inilalapit ng PSA ang National ID services sa mga komunidad upang maging mas mabilis, mas accessible, at mas maginhawa ang serbisyo para sa bawat Pilipino. 🇵🇭

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡 | PSA-Isabela, nagsagawa ng National ID Mobile Registration at IEC Campaign sa Barangay Pilitan, Tumauini, Isabela

Patuloy na inilalapit ng Philippine Statistics Authority – Isabela Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-Isabela) ang mga serbisyong may kaugnayan sa National ID sa iba’t ibang komunidad sa lalawigan.

Ngayong araw, matagumpay na isinagawa ng PSA-Isabela ang National ID Mobile Registration at Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign sa Barangay Pilitan, Tumauini, Isabela upang mas mapadali ang pagpaparehistro at mapalawak ang kaalaman ng publiko tungkol sa National ID system.

Pinangunahan ni Registration Officer II Romeo Jr. Villanueva ng PSA-Isabela, katuwang ang LGU-Tumauini na kinatawan ni Municipal Civil Registrar Ruben Michael M. Angobung, Jr., ang nasabing aktibidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng mobile registration at IEC campaign, mas napapalapit ang serbisyo sa mga residente, lalo na sa mga hindi madaling makabiyahe patungo sa registration centers. Layunin din nitong hikayatin ang mas maraming mamamayan na magparehistro at maunawaan ang kahalagahan at benepisyo ng National ID.

Patuloy ang PSA-Isabela sa paghahatid ng mas mabilis, mas maginhawa, at mas accessible na serbisyo publiko para sa bawat Isabeleño.
