First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2026

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, in coordination with the Rural Health Unit – Santiago, BFP Region 1 Santiago Ilocos Sur, and PNP Santiago, successfully conducted the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill at Santiago Institute. Learners, educators, and school personnel actively participated in the activity. At exactly 3:30 PM, upon hearing the siren, the participants immediately performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure followed by an orderly evacuation to the designated safe areas.

This initiative aims to strengthen preparedness and promote proper response in the event of an earthquake. Through continuous drills and strong community cooperation, we move closer to building a safer and more disaster-resilient community. 🚨🏫

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa sa First Quarter NSED ngayong araw March 12, 2026, 3:30 P.M. Magsisimula ang programa ng ceremonial pressing of the button nang 2:30 P.M. Mapapanood ang livestream nito sa Civil Defense PH and NDRRMC FB pages.
