The Senior High School graduates of Northeastern College Basic Education Center—Batch 2—marked a defining milestone in a dignified and inspiring Graduation Ceremony, celebrating years of perseverance, growth, and academic excellence.

The ceremony commenced with a formal processional, followed by the entrance of colors, invocation, and the singing of the National Anthem and the NC Hymn, setting a solemn yet celebratory atmosphere. Delivering the welcome address, Kim Theresa Ellaine R. Viloria, a STEM student, warmly acknowledged the graduates, faculty, and guests while reflecting on the shared journey of Batch 2.

The program proceeded with the Petition of the Graduates led by Ken M. Akasaka, after which the candidates were formally presented by the school principal, Mr. Jerry R. Pobre Jr., CHRA, LPT, MAED-LL. The graduates were then officially accepted and confirmed by the school president, Dr. Tomas C. Bautista, duly represented by Dr. Sabina B. Pascual—signifying their successful completion of Senior High School.

A highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas, honors, and awards, recognizing the graduates’ dedication, resilience, and outstanding achievements. The venue was filled with pride and applause as each student was honored for their hard work.

In a heartfelt message, Princess Jaye Mignonette V. Alejo delivered the words of gratitude, expressing sincere appreciation to parents, teachers, and peers who became part of their journey. Basic Education Center Holds Annual Honors and Awards Deliberation

The Basic Education Center recently conducted its annual deliberation of honors, recognizing students who excelled academically and demonstrated exemplary conduct.

The evaluation was led by Chief Librarian Dr. Franenicia Reconsal and Dr. Saranay Doyaoen, Dean of the College of Education. Advisers reviewed student records, including Ma’am Merlinda Montenegro for Elementary, Ma’am Mikee Nool and Ma’am Jenny Tamase for Junior High, and Ma’am Rhency Caramancion and Ma’am Everly Gamayo for Senior High.

School Principal Jerry R. Pobre, along with Ma’am Jean Oriña, who prepared the necessary documents for evaluation, also participated in the deliberation. The process emphasized fairness, transparency, and accuracy to ensure that only deserving students are recognized.

The Junior and Senior Socialization 2026 was successfully conducted on March 9, 2026, at the Northern College Function Hall with the theme “Unfolding: Enlivening the Lanterns of Connection as We Bright Beyond.” The event aimed to strengthen camaraderie, promote social interaction, and celebrate the unity of junior and senior students through a series of meaningful and entertaining activities.

The program began with the registration and preliminaries, including the opening prayer, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and the NC Hymn, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the evening. One of the most significant highlights was the Cotillion de Honor, where Grade 10 students symbolically relinquished the key of responsibility to the Grade 12 students, followed by the acceptance speech and officers’ pledge delivered by the student leaders. The elegant Cotillion and Rigodon de Honor performances further showcased the grace, discipline, and teamwork of the participating students.

Adding life to the celebration were the musical performances by the BEC Band and a lively party playlist that filled the hall with energy and excitement. A special part of the program was the awarding of special awards, recognizing students who stood out in different categories and celebrating their confidence, charm, and participation during the event. The evening concluded with heartfelt messages and the ceremonial lighting of the Mother Candle and the community song, reminding everyone of the unity and shared journey within the school community.
