The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫𝗜𝗜 - 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗗𝗔𝟭𝟮-𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗗) 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 successfully conducted a series of agri-enterprise training and capability-building activities. This impactful 2-day event took place at Venue 88 Hotel and Events Place in General Santos City from August 25-26, 2026.

A productive courtesy call and coordination meeting was held between the DSWD and OMAG, headed by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀, to discuss the rollout of the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗟𝗣).We are looking forward to a brighter future for our local organizations! This program opens doors for the Malapatan Tri-People Womens Association (MATRIWA) and the Purok 10 Women's Association to avail of enterprise development support and livelihood grants. By empowering our local associations through this program, we can build a more progressive Malapatan! 🌾

Hatid ang 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 sa Sitio Banlas, Barangay Kihan, Malapatan Sarangani Province, pinangunahan ni 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 "𝐉𝐮𝐧" 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐨 𝐉𝐫. ang pagbisita at paghahatid ng mga tulong sa ating mga kapatid sa Sitio Banlas, Barangay Kihan, Malapatan, Sarangani Province.

Kasama ang ating Opisina, Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) na pinangunahan ni 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 upang magsagawa ng RSBSA (Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture) profiling. Namahagi rin tayo ng libreng bitamina para sa mga alagang Kabayo, Baka, Kambing, Pamurga ng mga alagang hayop, at libreng binhi ng mga gulay tulad ng buto ng Talong, Pipino, Okra, Pechay at Sitaw. Layunin nating palakasin ang kabuhayan at kalusugan ng bawat pamilya sa ating komunidad.

Isang hakbang patungo sa mas masagana, malusog, at sapat na suplay ng pagkain para sa lahat! Patuloy nating itaguyod ang sektor ng agrikultura !

August 14, 2026 - Recapping last Friday’s incredible 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 in Malapatan, Sarangani!

We are grateful to our hardworking local vendors and to the community who dropped by and help our local farmers🌾 and fisherfolks🐟.

LUMABA stands strong as a proud tri-people association, bringing together Christian, Muslim, and Indigenous Peoples (IP) farmers across different barangays in Malapatan. Our garden is a living testament to how diversity breeds harmony and food security.

Our dedicated members have poured their hard work and cultural heritage into cultivating a space that showcases vegetable production techniques, environment-friendly farming, and unity toward a more resilient and food-secure Sarangani. From our fields to your tables, we are proving that when a diverse community plants together, we thrive together!

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of the Local Government Unit of Malapatan through Office of the Municipal Agriculturist, alongside the strong support, and active cooperation of Barangay Council of Lun Masla headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Gadwin Saludes.

Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) profiling in Poblacion, Malapatan Sarangani Province

The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) conducted the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (𝙍𝙎𝘽𝙎𝘼) profiling in Barangay Poblacion, Malapatan. Special thanks for the assistance and support of the Barangay Council of Poblacion, headed by 𝙋𝙪𝙣𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙣̃𝙚𝙩𝙚 𝙅𝙧.
, alongside the invaluable security and assistance of the Malapatan Maritime Law Enforcement Team headed by 𝙋𝘾𝙈𝙎 𝙍𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙈. 𝘼𝙜𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙖.

A total of 261 agri-fishery stakeholders were successfully profiled:

The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG), led by 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙧. 𝙈𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙡 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙨 and 𝙅𝙖𝙮 𝙊𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙙𝙖, successfully conducted a 2-days hands-on Coffee Production Training in Sitio Akbungkod, Brgy. Kinam.Through the strong support of 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮 "𝙅𝙪𝙣" 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙤 𝙅𝙧. and in partnership with Greentropics Coffee Enterprise (Sir Fred and Ian Fredeluces), our Kinam Akbungkod Farmers in Indigenous Community Association (KAFICA) are now better equipped with sustainable farming skills!

Empowering our indigenous farming communities with modern, good agricultural practices from seedling, land preparation, sustainable crop care, pest management, pruning to post-harvest processing, better practices mean a better livelihood for our farming communities.
