📍𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲

The Municipality of Malungon, through the Malungon Tourism Office headed by Maam Cristina D. Constantino-La Paz, welcomed 70 students and young peace leaders for a meaningful Cultural Immersion and Peace Learning Exchange at Lamlifew Museum and School of Living Tradition in Sitio Lamlifew, Brgy. Datal Tampal,Malungon,Sarangani Province.

The activity was organized by the MSU-Gensan Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM) under the three-day national youth program entitled “Champions for Peace: Leading Change for Cohesive and Sustainable Futures,” in partnership with the Kofi Annan Foundation and Kris for Peace.

Participants from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao were given the opportunity to engage with the Blaan community through cultural exchange and firsthand learning experiences on traditional practices, communal activities, and ways of living, promoting deeper appreciation for indigenous culture, peacebuilding, respect, and unity among the youth.

The Malungon Tourism Office continues to promote culture, unity, and peace through meaningful community engagements.
