Sergio Osmeña Municipal Fire Station Personnel spearheaded by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, actively participated in the closing ceremony of the 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 with the theme “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman” at Sergio Osmeña National High School, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte.

The activity successfully concluded the week-long Brigada Eskwela program, recognizing the collective efforts of teachers, parents, learners, stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners. Certificates of recognition were awarded to partners and volunteers for their valuable support and commitment to the spirit of bayanihan.

Through its continued partnership with the school and community, the BFP personnel of Sergio Osmeña reaffirmed their commitment to supporting education and community programs, promoting volunteerism, collaboration, and quality learning for all.

This annual initiative, led by the Department of Education (DepEd), unites teachers, parents, students, and community partners in preparing schools for the opening of the new academic year. The participation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) underscores its dedication not only to promoting fire safety and prevention but also to supporting community engagement and the holistic development of the youth.

During the activity, personnel from Sergio Osmeña MFS actively participated in clean-up initiatives, and carried out fire safety inspections to help ensure that classrooms and school facilities remained safe, functional, and conducive to learning. Their participation also highlighted the importance of disaster preparedness, fire prevention awareness, and community responsibility among students, teachers, and other stakeholders.

𝟏𝟗𝟓𝟖𝐇 𝟎𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || Sergio Osmeña Municipal Fire Station duty personnel under the supervision of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐏 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, together with the Quick Response Team (QRT) - Sergio Osmeña responded to an Emergency Medical Response at Barangay San Juan, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte.

Upon arrival, the scene was found safe and secured. One (1) patient was found lying on the road, conscious and responsive, with a suspected fracture of the left knee.

First aid was provided. The left knee was immobilized using a splint, and the patient was carefully secured onto a spine board. Vital signs were taken and recorded as follows: BP 120/90 mmHg; PR 98 bpm; RR 20 cpm; SpO₂ 98%; T 36.9°C.

The patient was transported via QRT ambulance to Sergio Osmeña Infirmary Hospital for further medical evaluation and management.
