The Municipality of Sibutad successfully concluded Day 4 of the Municipal Resilience Planning (MRP) Workshop on October 15, 2026, under the DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP).

This milestone reflects the collective efforts and commitment of stakeholders in developing a Multi-Year Municipal Resilience Plan that addresses community-identified risks and priorities.

Day 2 of MRP Workshop - Small Group Meeting

Selected MResT are the participants as committees for the formulation of the MRP objectives and its key indicators. They are also oriented with the Category of PPAs, Inclusion and Negative List, Nature-based Solutions, and documentary requirements of the PPAs.

Our facilitators today are Engr Bethelmae Fabriga-Ruiz the CPO III and Engr Faujie M. Lindagan the RIO III of MaTA Dipolog. And also the special presence of our CDO III Sir Gilmar O. Yamba.

Day 1 | Municipal Resilience Planning Workshop

The Municipal Resilience Planning (MResT) Workshop was conducted on September 24, 2026 at the Municipal Conference Room, with the participation of representatives from various municipal departments, barangay officials, and visitors from the municipalities of La Libertad, Manukan, and Rizal.

The DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS ACT/MCT—Ms. Edlyn B. Calaguan, RSW, Area Coordinator; Mr. Steven Rhey P. Sibugal, RMP, Technical Facilitator; and Mr. James Wyz B. Kabristante, MAC—presented the data gathered from the different community activities conducted.

Resource persons from MATa Dipolog, PPDO-PLGU, and MDRRMO also shared technical inputs, namely Mr. Gilmar O. Yamba, CDO III; Engr. Bethlemae F. Ruiz, CPO III; Ms. Jessa Noah A. Eldian; Ms. Juvy E. Sevilla; and Mr. Jay M. Santiago, Head of MDRRMO. Ms. Nelia Gonzalez, FA III from MATa Dipolog was present.

A key activity was the prioritization of risks, where the MResT members voted on which identified risks should be prioritized for further assessment and planning. The results will guide the succeeding discussions and resilience planning activities.

Gitan-aw usab kung unsa ang mga coping capacity o mga pamaagi nga naa sa barangay aron maka-atubang sa mga risgo.
