Alternative Learning Modes for tomorrow, August 18, 2026.

𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟏𝟐𝟖, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the Heavy Rainfall Warnings issued by PAGASA relative to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 18 August 2026.

Agencies delivering basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services. Alternative learning modes shall be implemented for classes at all levels in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Hindi po ako late sa announcement… iniisip ko lang kung ilang araw na kayong hindi nakikita ni Crush. 😅

Dahil sa Yellow Rainfall Warning ng DOST-PAGASA at sa patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng , suspendido ang pasok sa LAHAT NG ANTAS, Public at Private Schools, sa Bayan ng Silang ngayon, August 11, 2026 (Tuesday).

Pero kahit walang pasok, huwag naman sanang gawing dahilan para gumala. Unahin ang kaligtasan, manatili muna sa bahay kung hindi kinakailangang lumabas, at patuloy na makinig sa mga opisyal na abiso.

At sa mga estudyanteng excited dahil walang pasok…
Okay lang magpahinga, pero baka mauna pa kayong ma-miss ni Crush kaysa sa klase. 😂❤️

Batay sa pinakahuling Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 36 ng PAGASA-DOST, nakataas ang YELLOW WARNING LEVEL sa Cavite kaninang 5:00 PM.

Patuloy nating mino-monitor ang lagay ng panahon at ang kondisyon ng ating mga kalsada, tulay at iba pang lugar sa ating bayan.

Mga magulang, g**o at mga mag-aaral, kaligtasan muna tayo. Iwasan muna ang paglabas kung hindi kinakailangan at manatiling alerto sa mga susunod na abiso.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na unahin ang kanilang kaligtasan at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo ng PAGASA, ng inyong lokal na pamahalaan, at ng mga kinauukulang ahensya.
