DAY 7 OF CASE-BASED SCENARIO

March 7, 2025, Chief of Police and the Quad Staff of all Police Stations had a Command Conference to discuss the Enhanced Managing Police Operations of respective Stations, held at Heroes Hall, PNPA. It is an activity where platform and achievements of police leaders are being discuss, evaluate, and strategize. It serves as a vital tool for ensuring effective leadership, coordination, and decision-making within the organization. The PNP operates nationwide, with different units handling various responsibilities. A Command Conference ensures that all levels of leadership from the national headquarters down to local stations are on the same page regarding policies, directives, and security concerns. This prevents miscommunication and enhances teamwork among officers.

The Activity was followed by the Closing Ceremony of the Phase 3 of Cadet Attachment Program, the Case-Based Scenario. The activity was led by PCOL MA SHIELA T PORTENTO, Acting Dean of Academics. P/CDT Kristina A Acidre delivered her Class Impression and shared her experience throughout the Cadet Attachment Program, followed by an inspiring Speech of PCOL MA SHIELA T PORTENTO.

Day 6 of Case-Based Scenario

March 6, 2025, Walang Katulad MPS led by PLTCOL CHRISTIANSON BALTAZAR, responded to a simulated Bombing Incident Scenario held at PNPA Hostel, to practice immediate response and investigation of such crimes.

One important reason for PNPA cadets to practice responding to bombing incidents is public safety. Bomb explosions can cause mass casualties, structural damage, and widespread panic. A well-trained officer can swiftly assess the situation, establish order, and provide immediate assistance to victims. Their quick response minimizes further harm and ensures that emergency protocols are followed effectively.

Keep your People Informed: Importance of Daily Personnel Accounting and Reporting (DPAR) and Police Information and Continuing Education

One of the main reasons for this practice is accountability. Police stations function as organized units where every officer’s presence and performance matter. By conducting daily personnel accounting, cadets learn the importance of monitoring attendance, readiness, and the proper delegation of duties, ensuring that all officers are present and available for police operations.

Gained knowledge and ideas from our supervisor, PLTCOL BALTAZAR fosters better community relations and crime prevention. Officers that trained in the latest policing strategies can engage more effectively with the public, address community concerns, and implement proactive crime prevention measures. Well-informed police officers gain the trust and cooperation of citizens, leading to a safer and more secure society.

Women’s Power: Practicing the functions of WCPD

March 4, 2024, Personnel of Walang Katulad MPS under the supervision of PLTCOL CHRISTIANSON BALTAZAR, handled sensitive cases involving minors and women. The WCPD or Women and Children Protection Desk vital unit of the Philippine National Police dedicated to handling cases involving women and children who are victims of abuse, exploitation, and violence. For PNPA cadets, practicing the proper handling of WCPC cases is important in preparing them to respond effectively and sensitively to these delicate situations.

Turnover Ceremony and Buy-Bust Operation

March 3, 2025, Walang Katulad Municipal Police Station conducted turnover ceremony, participated by its officers and personnel led by PLTCOL MARC JOSEPH L VITTO, held at Walang Katulad MPS. Leadership is a fundamental quality that every PNPA cadets must develop, especially as they prepare for roles in police stations. As future officers, cadets are expected to lead by example, uphold discipline, and make decisions that impact both their fellow officers and the community they serve. Strong leadership ensures efficiency, professionalism, and public trust in police operations.

In the evening, Walang Katulad MPS conducted Buy-bust Operation resulting to the arrest of two suspects. Drug-related crimes remain a major challenge in law enforcement, requiring police officers to be well-trained in conducting operations such as buy-busts. For PNPA cadets, practicing buy-bust or anti-drug operations is crucial in preparing them for real-life scenarios where precision, strategy, and adherence to the law are essential.

COMELEC CHECKPOINT

Walang Katulad Municipal Police Station Conducted Checkpoint along the Unique St, Brgy. Bukod Tangi, Walang Katulad. In order to ensure road safety and improve police presence and discourage criminal behavior, cadets actively participated in COMELEC checkpoints and area patrols. The team was able to apply real-world procedures for upholding peace and order through these exercises.

One of the primary reasons for checkpoint training is to enhance operational efficiency. Cadets must learn the proper procedures for setting up and managing checkpoints, including inspecting vehicles, identifying suspicious individuals, and ensuring compliance with legal protocols. This training helps them develop situational awareness and decision-making skills, which are critical in identifying threats and preventing illegal activities such as drug trafficking, smuggling, and transportation of fi****ms.

March 1, 2025, The opening Ceremony of CAP Phase 3: Case-Based Scenario for the PNPA SINAGLAWIN CL of 2025, led by PCOL MA SHIELA T PORTENTO, Dean of Academics, Held at Heroes Hall, Philippine National Police Academy.

Walang Katulad Municipal Police Station, our team assumed duties and responsibilities in managing station duties and responding to various simulated incidents, entering realistic police simulations created to foster the development of vital field operations abilities.
Simulations expose cadets to real-world challenges such as crime reporting, handling suspects, community disputes, or emergency responses.

Through simulations, cadets experience various challenges such as responding to crimes, handling disputes, and investigating cases. This hands-on training sharpens their ability to assess situations, communicate effectively, and enforce the law while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards. Additionally, these exercises enhance their leadership skills and teamwork, preparing them for the unpredictable nature of police work.

February 28, 2025, Students of Maharlika East Primary School visits Tagaytay Component City Police Station as part of their curriculum, the Field trip and Study Visit. The PNP Personnel and PNPA Cadets accommodated the Children and Teachers and assisted them to the Facilities and Offices of the station.
Visiting a police station is a valuable learning experience for students as it helps them understand the role of law enforcement in maintaining peace and order. Such visits provide students with firsthand knowledge of police operations, fostering respect for the law and strengthening community ties. One of the key benefits of visiting a police station is that it allows students to see how officers work to protect and serve the community. On February 27, 2025, PNPA Cadets and personnel of Tagaytay CCPS, under the supervision of PLTCOL JEFFERSON P ISON, Officer-In-Charge in line with Community Mobilization Project, convened a meeting with the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Maharlika West and discussed about the peace and order siutation and Community Mobilization Project. The PNP also rendered security assistance during Tree Planting activity in which participated by the Cadets and Barangay Officials of Brgy. Maharlika West.
these meetings help build trust between law enforcement and the community. When barangay officials and the PNP work together transparently, residents feel more secure and are more likely to cooperate in reporting crimes and suspicious activities. This partnership ensures that law enforcement is community-centered, proactive, and responsive to the needs of the people.

February 26, 2025, PNPA Cadets observed and studied the Functions and importance of Women and Children Protection Desk in Tagaytay Component City Police Station.

One of the primary reasons for the establishment of WCPD is to protect women and children from various forms of violence, including domestic abuse, sexual harassment, trafficking, and other forms of exploitation. In many cases, victims of such crimes feel reluctant to report incidents due to fear, stigma, or lack of trust in the justice system. The WCPD provides a safe and supportive environment where victims can report their experiences without fear of discrimination or intimidation.

Beyond law enforcement, the WCPD actively engages in prevention and awareness campaigns to educate the public on gender-based violence and child protection. These initiatives include seminars, workshops, and community outreach programs aimed at informing individuals about their rights and the legal recourse available to them.
