𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Solana acknowledges the public's concerns regarding the continuation of face-to-face classes during power interruptions and appreciates everyone's concern for the safety and welfare of our learners and teachers.

During the Local School Board (LSB) Meeting, it was agreed that decisions on class suspension due to extreme heat, prolonged power interruptions, heavy rainfall, typhoons, and other calamities shall be based on the recommendation of the three (3) Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS), who are in the best position to assess the actual conditions in the schools within their respective districts.

The LGU likewise adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Department of Education (DepEd), which require schools to implement appropriate learning continuity measures, including make-up classes or alternative learning arrangements, whenever classes are suspended.

The Municipal Government remains committed to working closely with DepEd and other concerned agencies to ensure that all decisions prioritize the safety, health, and welfare of our learners and school personnel.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Solana acknowledges the public’s concerns regarding the continuation of face-to-face classes during power interruptions and other emergencies. The safety and welfare of our learners and school personnel remain our top priority.

The LGU clarifies that, under DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026 on the Guidelines on Learning Continuity in Emergencies, power outages do not automatically result in the suspension of classes.

In cases of prolonged power interruptions or other emergencies, the School Head or Principal, in coordination with the Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), Barangay Council, and the Local Chief Executive (LCE), shall assess the actual situation in the school and determine whether there is a need to recommend the suspension of classes.

If face-to-face classes are suspended, schools shall implement appropriate learning continuity measures, such as alternative learning modalities or make-up classes, in accordance with DepEd guidelines.

The LGU of Solana remains committed to working closely with the Department of Education and all concerned stakeholders to ensure that every decision prioritizes the safety, health, and continuous learning of our learners.

Central Route: SM City Tuguegarao to Lingkod Bayan Office
Western Route: SM City Tuguegarao to Sampaguita Barangay Hall & Calillauan Market
Northern Route: SM City Tuguegarao to Bauan Evacuation Center & CSU-Iraga

Schedule: Monday to Saturday | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

This initiative aims to provide a safer, more convenient, and accessible transportation option for Solanian students traveling from their schools during evening hours.

Ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Solana, sa pakikipagtulungan ng SM City Tuguegarao, ay opisyal nang maglulunsad ng Libreng P2P Transport Service para sa mga estudyanteng may night classes.
