Five individuals were arrested and one minor was rescued following an anti-illegal drugs operation conducted by personnel of Solano Municipal Police Station through its Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit (MDEU) at Barangay Roxas, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

The operation was launched in response to a report from a concerned citizen regarding an alleged illegal drug session at the said location. Upon arrival, police personnel reportedly caught the six individuals in the act of using suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.

During the operation, authorities recovered two heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 0.084 gram, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱571.00. Other recovered items included plastic packaging with suspected drug residue, aluminum foil, improvised tooters, a long needle, and two lighters. The seized items were marked and inventoried at the scene in the presence of a media representative and a barangay official.

The arrested individuals and confiscated evidence were subsequently brought to Solano Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition. The rescued minor was also attended to in accordance with applicable child protection procedures.

SOLANO POLICE ENSURE PEACEFUL CELEBRATION OF 166TH PAGBIAGAN FESTIVAL

The 166th Founding Anniversary and Pagbiagan Festival 2026 was successfully and peacefully celebrated in the Municipality of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, with the concerted efforts of law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, force multipliers, the local government, and the community.

The security operations were led by PMAJ JOHN ANTHONY S. SANCHEZ, Chief of Police who oversaw the deployment of police personnel in strategic areas to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and festivalgoers throughout the celebration.
Solano Police Station worked closely with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), 1st Nueva Vizcaya Police Mobile Force Company (NVPMFC), and various force multipliers in maintaining peace and order, managing crowds, securing activity areas, assisting motorists and pedestrians, and responding promptly to security and emergency concerns.

TWO SUSPECTS ARRESTED, SUSPECTED SHABU SEIZED IN SOLANO BUY-BUST OPERATION

Two suspected drug personalities were arrested following a successful buy-bust operation conducted by joint operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Police Intelligence Unit (PIU), Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office (NVPPO) as the lead unit, Regional Intelligence Division 2 (RID2), and Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit (MDEU) of Solano Police Station within Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old female categorized as a Priority High-Value Individual (HVI) and a 38-year-old male categorized as a Street-Level Individual (SLI).

During the operation, the designated poseur-buyer successfully purchased one (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as “shabu,” weighing approximately 0.23 grams, with a standard drug price of ₱1,564.00. A subsequent search resulted in the recovery of three (3) additional heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu, weighing approximately 0.47 grams, 5.80 grams, and 3.00 grams, respectively, along with other pieces of evidence.

The operation resulted in the seizure of four (4) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, as well as other drug-related evidence and items recovered from the suspects. The seized suspected illegal drugs had a reported standard drug price of ₱59,704.00, based on the operational report.

The suspects were informed of their constitutional rights in a dialect they fully understood, in compliance with the Miranda Doctrine, and were subsequently brought to Solano Police Station, together with the confiscated items, for documentation and proper disposition.

The arrested individuals are facing charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
PMAJ JOHN ANTHONY S. SANCHEZ, Chief of Police of Solano Police Station, commended the operating personnel for the successful implementation of the operation and emphasized the station's commitment to intensify its campaign against illegal drugs.

A buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of the Solano Municipal Police Station on September 20, 2026, in Barangay Bascaran, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, resulted in the arrest of a suspected drug personality.

During the operation, the designated poseur-buyer successfully purchased one (1) heat-sealed plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. The operation resulted in the recovery of a total of two (2) heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with an estimated total weight of 0.324 grams and a corresponding Standard Drug Price of ₱2,203.00. Also recovered were the ₱500.00 buy-bust money and one (1) cellular phone.

The arrested suspect was informed of his constitutional rights pursuant to the Miranda Doctrine in a language fully understood by him and was subsequently brought to the Solano Municipal Police Station, together with the confiscated items, for proper documentation and disposition.
