The first batch of graduates under the GSIS-TESDA Skills Partnership Program has recently completed the Bread and Pastry Production course in Davao.​

Umabot na sa ₱27.29 bilyon ang naipamahagi ng GSIS sa 463,608 member-benefeciaries sa ilalim ng Ginhawa Go Program.​

GSIS Sorsogon Insurance Check Turnover To LGU Balud

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Sorsogon, led by Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Branch Manager Reymund J. Fiecas, formally turned over an insurance claim check amounting to ₱1,625,656.49 to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Balud, Masbate. The amount represents the insurance proceeds for damages sustained by the municipal building as a result of Typhoon Opong.

Representing the Municipality of Balud during the ceremonial turnover were Mr. Noel Verano, Municipal Treasurer (first from the left),
Ms. Lilian De Andres, OIC Municipal Budget Officer (centre), and Mr. Leonido Vallena, Municipal Administrator (second from the right), who personally received the insurance claim check on 22 July 2026. The turnover highlighted GSIS' commitment to the prompt release of insurance benefits and its continued partnership with local government units in safeguarding government assets and supporting disaster recovery efforts.

Aside from the check turnover, Manager Fiecas provided updates on key GSIS programs and services, including the BalikGinhawa2, GSIS Touch enrolment, online filing of claim applications, and the Green Loan Program, encouraging GSIS members of the municipality to maximize these digital and ginhawa services.

The Municipality of Balud expressed its sincere appreciation to GSIS for its prompt assistance and steadfast support in helping restore government facilities and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of quality public services to its constituents.
