🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE: CLASS SUSPENSION UPDATE & RETRIEVAL OF LEARNER BELONGINGS 🚨

In compliance with the directives from the Municipal Local Government of Tboli, classes at Lugan Central Elementary School remain SUSPENDED due to ongoing aftershocks. The safety of our learners and staff continues to be our absolute priority.

To help parents and guardians who wish to retrieve their children's books, school supplies, or personal belongings left in the classrooms, please strictly follow these guidelines to ensure an orderly and safe process:

📋 GUIDELINES FOR RETRIEVAL OF BELONGINGS:

📍Check the Schedule: Please coordinate with your child’s respective classroom adviser via your group chats to know the specific time slot allocated for your child's section. This is to avoid crowding. (Please see Comment Section for Schedules and other announcements from advisers)
📍One Representative Only: Only one (1) parent or authorized guardian per learner will be allowed to enter the school campus to minimize the number of people inside the buildings.
📍Safety First: Please remain calm and alert while on campus. In the event of an aftershock, immediately follow the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocol and follow instructions from school personnel.
📍Proceed Directly: Go straight to your child's classroom, secure the belongings, and exit the school promptly once done to give way to the next batch of parents.
📍Coordinate for Working Parents: If you cannot make it, please inform the teacher beforehand if you are sending an authorized representative to claim the items.

LOOK| Despite the recent earthquake that shook our region, the spirit of the Lugan Central ES community remains unshakable! Today, we successfully held our first Flag Raising Ceremony, and the energy was nothing short of inspiring. 🇵🇭✨

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this morning possible and safe:
📍To our amazing Teachers and Parents: Thank you for your presence, your resilience, and for standing your ground to prioritize the safety of our learners during the tremor. Your calm and quick actions showed what true leadership looks like.
📍To our Heroes on the Ground: A huge thank you to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) Personnel, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and all concerned agencies and volunteers. 🚨 EMERGENCY NOTICE: SUSPENSION OF CLASSES 🚨
Please be informed that classes at Lugan Central Elementary School are officially suspended today following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that recently struck parts of Mindanao.
This suspension is in accordance with the directives and declarations issued by the Department of Education (DepEd), the Provincial Government, and the Municipal Government to prioritize the safety, structural assessment of buildings, and well-being of all learners, teachers, and school personnel.
We urge the entire Lugan Central ES community to remain calm, stay vigilant, and practice all necessary safety protocols. Check your surroundings for any structural damage and keep emergency hotlines handy.

LOOK| As part of our commitment to delivering quality and inclusive education, LCES is currently conducting reading assessments for incoming Grade 1 learners during the admission process.

This initiative aims to evaluate the baseline literacy skills of our new grade 1 learners. The data gathered will allow our educators to design and implement targeted instructional strategies, ensuring that no child is left behind when classes begins.
