𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) adopts a 4-day on-site and 1-day work-from-home arrangement as part of government energy conservation measures amid rising global oil prices.

Under Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-4999, all frontline services will remain open from Monday to Friday, transactions such as driver's licensing, motor vehicle registration, adjudication, and other public facing services will continue without disruption.

For non-client-facing units, a 4-day onsite work arrangement (Monday to Thursday) and work-from-home every Friday will be implemented.

Pursuant to the United Nations General Assembly Resolution A/RES/62/139: Designating 02 April as World Autism Awareness Day, to be observed every year beginning in 2008, and in support of the National Council of Disability Affairs (NCDA), the Land Transportation Office Region XI actively supports and participates in the 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from 06 to 10 April 2026.

This year's theme, "Autism and Humanity - Every Life Has Value," emphasizes the promotion of inclusivity, respect, and equal opportunities for persons with autism.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Sulop District Office, in coordination with Digos District Office conducted thorough inspection of public utility buses at Sulop Overland Terminal to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of vehicles during the Semana Santa and summer vacation season.

This operation aims to guarantee that all buses are in good condition before hitting the road, helping prevent accidents and ensuring the safety of passengers. It also promotes compliance with transportation laws and regulations among drivers and operators.

Through this initiative, the LTO is committed to providing safe, reliable, and comfortable travel for the riding public during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year.

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 116 issued by the Office of the President, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) will implement a work-from-home arrangement from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on April 1, 2026.

During this period, transactions will be handled through online platforms and official communication channels.

Work in all government offices is suspended starting 12:00 PM (noon) of the same day.

This measure is in line with preparations for the observance of Semana Santa 2026.

The Land Transportation Office – Region XI (Davao City) proudly announces a groundbreaking collaboration with Coca‑Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines aimed at advancing road safety initiatives across the Davao Region. This marks the first private–public sector alliance of its kind in the area, highlighting a shared commitment to safe, disciplined, and responsible mobility on our roads.

Representatives from both parties— led by LTO XI Regional Director Atty. Ernesto Raphael V. Robillo — came together to formalize this important partnership. Together, we reaffirm our mission to protect lives, promote road discipline, and empower our drivers and commuters with sustainable road safety advocacy and action.

At the core of this initiative is the shared belief that “Road safety is a responsibility we all carry — from every wheel on the road to every policy we uphold.” With CCEAP’s substantial fleet on the road every day, this collaboration underscores the role of proactive partnerships in fostering a culture of road safety, not only here in Davao but across communities we serve.

This alliance will support:

✔ Strategic deployment of safety information and signage
✔ Expanded stakeholder engagement to reduce traffic risks

With this year's tagline, "Switch On Habits for Earth," the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, together with the Department of Transportation - Philippines and the Land Transportation Office - Philippines, invites everyone to participate in SWITCHING OFF their establishment and/or residential lights to give an hour for Earth, spending 60 minutes doing something - anything - positive for the planet.

Earth Hour 2025 Highlights:

• The Philippines ranked first place in the Global Hour Bank with a total number of 1,377,368 hours logged.

• The Department of Energey (DOE) reported a 161.98-megawatt (MW) reduction in electricity use during the one-hour switch-off. This is a 22.6% increase from the 132.11 MW load drop recorded in 2024.

• 28 National Government Agency Partners

Alinsunod sa Proclamation No. 1189 na nagdedeklara ng pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan) bilang isang Regular Holiday, ipinaaalam sa publiko na pansamantalang tigil operasyon ang mga tanggapan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) bukas, Biyernes, ika-20 Marso.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Eid’l Fitr ay isang mahalagang okasyon para sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim bilang pagtatapos ng banal na buwan ng Ramadan. Hinihikayat ang lahat na igalang at makiisa sa diwa ng kapayapaan, pagkakaisa, at pananampalataya.

March 14, 2026 (Saturday) — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Sulop District Office conducted the B.O.S.S. Project (Barangay Outreach & Support Services) at the Municipal Gym in Poblacion, Malalag, Davao del Sur.

The outreach program aims to bring LTO services closer to the community and make government services more accessible and convenient for the public. Through this caravan, residents were able to avail essential LTO services without the need to travel far, saving both time and transportation expenses.

Services offered during the activity included:
• Free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) -- 170
• Student Permit Issuance -- 160
• Driver’s License Renewal -- 7
• Motor Vehicle Registration Renewal --- 41

This initiative helps promote responsible driving, road safety awareness, and ensures that motorists are properly licensed and their vehicles are legally registered.
