Mula nang pamunuan ni Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief, Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao ang LTO, sinimulan ng ahensya ang mas mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng mga regulasyon laban sa mga accredited dealers na lumalabag sa proseso ng initial registration ng mga bagong sasakyan. Bilang bahagi ng kampanyang ito, 178 accredited dealers sa buong bansa ang naisyuhan ng Show Cause Orders (SCOs) mula Enero hanggang Hunyo 2026 dahil sa iba't ibang paglabag, kabilang ang hindi pagsunod sa itinakdang processing period sa pagproseso ng Official Receipt (OR), Certificate of Registration (CR), at plaka.

Isinagawa ang hakbang kasunod ng mga reklamong natanggap ng LTO mula sa mga may-ari ng sasakyan na hindi naibibigay sa itinakdang panahon ang kanilang OR, CR, at plaka na nagiging hadlang sa legal na paggamit ng kanilang mga bagong sasakyan.

Samantala, kabilang sa mga dealer na nakapagtala ng pinakamaraming reklamong natanggap ng LTO ay ang mga sumusunod:

Car Dealers
1. Shaw Automotive Resources, Inc.

4. Vesuvius Motor Corporation

“Panahon na upang managot ang mga dealer na patuloy na hindi tumutupad sa kanilang obligasyon. Hindi ko rin hahayaan na patuloy na maantala ang serbisyo na dapat natatanggap ng publiko, dahil pagpapahirap ito sa ating mga motorista. Hindi natin ito kukunsintihin. Ang mga dealer na hindi sumusunod sa itinakda na regulasyon ng LTO ay papatawan ko ng preventive suspension, at kung kinakailangan, papatigilin ko ang kanilang operasyon,” dagdag ni Asec. Lacanilao.

Nilinaw ng LTO na patuloy itong nag-iisyu ng SCO laban sa mga accredited dealer company na mapatutunayang lumalabag sa mga umiiral na batas at regulasyon, bilang bahagi ng mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng batas at pangangalaga sa interes ng publiko.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) RXI – Sulop District Office, under the leadership of OIC/SrTRO Cecil D. Torregosa, successfully conducted the Barangay Outreach and Support Services (B.O.S.S.) Project with the full support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Juwill G. Carpentero. The activity was held in line with the celebration of the 77th Araw of Padada.

The B.O.S.S. Project aims to bring LTO frontline services closer to the community, making it easier and more convenient for residents to access essential licensing services while promoting efficient, accessible, and people-centered public service.

The Land Transportation Office – Region XI (LTO XI), under the leadership of Regional Director ATTY. ERNESTO RAPHAEL V. ROBILLO, strongly condemns and denounces the recent fraudulent activities perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals who have been falsely representing themselves as the Regional Director and other officials of this Office.

It has come to our attention that an individual using mobile number 0927-747-6944 has been making telephone calls to motorcycle dealers, vehicle dealerships, car rental establishments, and other stakeholders, falsely introducing himself as “Regional Director Ernesto Raphael V. Robillo” and soliciting whiskey, cash, financial assistance, and other favors purportedly intended for visitors from the National Capital Region (NCR).

Likewise, reports indicate that the same individual instructed victims to send money through GCash to the following account:

𝗟𝗧𝗢 𝗫𝗜 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗥𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧, 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗟, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

Neither Regional Director ATTY. ERNESTO RAPHAEL V. ROBILLO nor any official, employee, or representative of LTO XI has authorized, directed, or participated in any solicitation of money, gifts, alcoholic beverages, GCash transfers, or any form of financial contribution from dealers, stakeholders, business establishments, or members of the public.

The public is hereby WARNED to exercise utmost vigilance and caution against individuals who use the names of LTO officials and personnel to solicit money, favors, donations, gifts, or any form of consideration. These individuals are criminals who seek to exploit the trust and goodwill of our stakeholders for their personal gain.

LTO XI maintains the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and public service. Our officials and personnel will NEVER engage in any unlawful solicitation, unauthorized collection of funds, or any activity that compromises the credibility and integrity of the agency.

We strongly urge all stakeholders, dealerships, accredited entities, business establishments, and the general public to immediately report any similar incident to the nearest law enforcement authorities, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group, the National Bureau of Investigation, or directly to LTO XI. Prompt reporting will facilitate surveillance, entrapment operations, and the immediate apprehension of those responsible.

Furthermore, we encourage anyone who receives calls, messages, or requests allegedly coming from any LTO official or employee to verify such communications directly with LTO XI before taking any action.

This Office remains committed to protecting the public from fraudulent schemes and will fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure that the perpetrators behind these criminal acts are identified, arrested, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We appeal to everyone to remain vigilant, refuse any unauthorized requests for money or gifts, and help us stop these criminal activities by reporting them immediately.

Together, let us protect our community from fraud, deception, and exploitation.

For guidance and public awareness, the LTO has repeatedly warned against scams and impersonation schemes involving the agency and government officials. The public is advised to immediately report suspicious solicitations and fraudulent communications.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region XI – Sulop District Office, under the leadership of OIC/SrTRO Cecil D. Torregosa, successfully conducted the Barangay Outreach and Support Services (B.O.S.S.) Project in the Municipality of Kiblawan in line with the celebration of the 60th Araw ng Kiblawan, with the support of Municipal Mayor Carl Jason Rama.

The B.O.S.S. Project significantly reduces the need for residents to travel long distances, allowing them to process and renew their permits, licenses, and vehicle registration requirements within their locality.

The LTO Sulop District Office, under the leadership of OIC/SrTRO Cecil D. Torregosa, together with the Regional Law Enforcement Section (RLES) personnel Judan Ignatius B. Zarate, Muhammad Rafi M. Untong, Joemar M. Santos, and Kim Joseph B. Mundiz, successfully conducted the DOTR-LTO OPLAN: Balik Eskwela 2026 in support of the safe reopening of classes.

The activity focused on traffic management and monitoring in school zones to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians during the opening of classes.

Together, let us uphold road discipline and make every journey to school safe for our learners.

Project in Municipality of Malalag Davao del Sur in line with the celebration of the 73rd Araw ng Malalag, with the support of Municipal Mayor Maria Zorrahayda T. Valentin and through the leadership of OIC/SrTRO Cecil D. Torregosa.

This activity aims to bring government services closer to the public by providing accessible, efficient, and convenient transportation-related services to the community. It also promotes road safety awareness, responsible driving, and strengthened cooperation between the local government and the community towards safer roads and better public service. 💙🇵🇭
