LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | GABI NG KABATAAN AND AWARDING CEREMONY

The celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 continued with a memorable and meaningful Gabi ng Kabataan and Awarding Ceremony, bringing together the Kabataang Tina for an evening of recognition, appreciation, and celebration.

During the program, the SK Tina Council awarded Certificates of Recognition to the Youth Representatives who participated and represented Barangay Tina in the Linggo ng Kabataan City-Level activities, recognizing their time, effort, and dedication in representing our community.

The evening also featured fun and exciting special awards, including:

The program also included a Message of Thanks from the SK Chairperson, expressing sincere appreciation to the Kabataang Tina, partners, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | GUHIT KABATAAN AND QUIZ BEE

The celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 continued with two activities that highlighted the creativity, knowledge, and talents of the Kabataang Tina — Guhit Kabataan and Quiz Bee.

Through Guhit Kabataan, our young participants were given the opportunity to express their ideas, creativity, and aspirations through art. Each artwork reflected the imagination and unique perspectives of our youth.

The excitement continued with the Quiz Bee, where our participants showcased their knowledge, quick thinking, and confidence. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Quiz Bee Master, Jessa Marie Dela Cruz, for sharing her time, effort, and expertise in making the activity successful.

Thank you to all the participants who took part in these activities and to everyone who supported the SK Tina Council in making Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 a meaningful celebration.

May we continue to create opportunities where the youth can learn, express themselves, discover their talents, and build confidence.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | FREE LUNCH, LIBRENG ICE CREAM & VEGETABLE SEEDLING DISTRIBUTION

Following the meaningful learning activities, the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration of Barangay Tina continued with a Free Lunch, Libreng Ice Cream, and Distribution of Vegetable Seedlings for our Kabataang Tina.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the City Government of Tacurong, through the City Agricultural Office, for providing the vegetable seedlings distributed to our participants. This initiative encourages our youth and families to embrace gardening, food production, and environmental responsibility.

A special and heartfelt thank you to Kagawad Alberto Espinel, Sir Edgar Gonzales, Ma’am Ailyn Dimamay, and Sir Boyet Dimamay for making the Libreng Ice Cream possible. Your generosity brought smiles and added sweetness to our Linggo ng Kabataan celebration.

Thank you as well to everyone who helped prepare and serve the Free Lunch and to all those who contributed their time, effort, and resources to make this activity successful.

The SK Tina Council remains committed to creating programs that are meaningful, beneficial, and enjoyable for the Kabataang Tina.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | CYBER CRIME AWARENESS AND ADOLESCENT SYMPOSIUM

Following the Tree Planting Activity on August 29, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tina continued the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration with two meaningful learning activities focused on the safety, health, and well-being of the youth.

The Cyber Crime Awareness Session was conducted with PSMG. Leonor Castromayorof the Sultan Kudarat Cyber Crime Response Team as our resource speaker. The session provided the Kabataang Tina with valuable knowledge on online safety, responsible use of social media, cyber-related risks, and the importance of being responsible digital citizens.

This was followed by the Adolescent Symposium, with Sir Marlow Buenacosa, RN from the City Health Office of the City of Tacurong, as our resource speaker. The symposium provided our young people with important information and awareness on adolescent health, well-being, and making responsible choices as they navigate the different stages of growing up.

A special thank you to the NDTC YSLEP Representativesfor joining and supporting the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Celebration of Barangay Tina. Your presence and participation added meaning to our activities and strengthened the spirit of youth engagement, learning, and fellowship.

The SK Tina Council sincerely thanks our resource speakers, partners, guests, and all the young people who took part in these activities. Your time, knowledge, and participation helped make this celebration more meaningful.

Linggo ng Kabataan is not only about celebration and recreation. It is also about learning, awareness, empowerment, and preparing our youth for a safer, healthier, and brighter future.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

On August 29, 2026, at 6:30 AM, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tina conducted a Tree Planting Activity at Purok Santan, Barangay Tina, as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026.

This activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage the youth to take an active role in caring for nature, and inspire a stronger sense of responsibility toward our environment.

The activity was made possible through the valuable assistance of Hon. Jerry P. Paloquia and the Purok Santan Officials, whose support and cooperation helped make this environmental initiative successful.

To the Kabataang Tina who participated, thank you for spending your morning planting not only trees, but also hope for a greener and better future.

Together, let us continue to nurture our environment and empower the youth to become responsible stewards of nature.

LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 | OPENING CEREMONY AND MOBILE LEGENDS TOURNAMENT

On August 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tina officially opened the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration with an exciting and meaningful Opening Ceremony.

The celebration continued with our Mobile Legends Tournament, where the Kabataang Tina showcased their teamwork, strategy, discipline, and competitive spirit.

More than just a tournament, this activity gave our youth an opportunity to connect, enjoy, compete, and build friendships while celebrating the spirit of Linggo ng Kabataan.

The SK Tina Council extends its gratitude to everyone who participated and supported the successful opening of this year’s celebration.

FEEDING PROGRAM AND “BASURA PALIT SCHOOL SUPPLIES”
In Celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026

As part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tina successfully conducted a Feeding Program and “Basura Palit School Supplies” activity at Tina Elementary School.

Through the SK Tina Project SIKAP, and in partnership with CENRO Tacurong, we were able to provide school supplies to a total of 185 students of Tina Elementary School.

This initiative aims not only to support our young learners with the school materials they need, but also to encourage them to value cleanliness, proper waste management, and environmental responsibility. Through the simple exchange of recyclable materials for school supplies, we hope to teach our children that caring for the environment can also create meaningful opportunities for the community.

Our heartfelt gratitude to CENRO Tacurong, Tina Elementary School, the school administration, teachers, parents, and most especially to the 185 students who participated in this meaningful activity.

The SK Tina Council remains committed to creating programs that support education, promote environmental awareness, and empower the youth of Barangay Tina.
