𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨, through its 𝐑𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭, successfully celebrated the Nutrition Month 2026 Culmination on July 30, 2026, bringing together the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Health Workers (BHW), and Barangay Sanitation Inspectors (BSI) from the different barangays, organized into (6) six clusters.

The activity was made possible through the unwavering support of 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯 𝗠. 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗼, 𝗔𝗹-𝗛𝗮𝗷𝗷, Municipal Mayor, and 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗨𝗹𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗠. 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗼, Municipal Vice Mayor, together with the dedicated leadership of OIC-MHO/DTTB 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗔. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗶𝘇. Their continued support and commitment remain instrumental in strengthening health and nutrition initiatives throughout the municipality.

The celebration highlighted learning, teamwork, creativity, and healthy competition through various activities:

Through these activities, the six clusters showcased their knowledge, skills, creativity, and teamwork while promoting proper nutrition, healthy food choices, active lifestyles, and environmental sustainability.

The celebration further strengthened the collaboration among the LGU, RHU, HRH, BNS, BHW, and BSI in working together toward healthier families and communities across Sultan Naga Dimaporo.

Together, we continue to champion good nutrition, healthier lifestyles, and sustainable communities for every Sultan Naga Dimaporoan. 💚🌱

Together with our local leaders, health champions, and dedicated partners from the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝) , we continue to align our goals, strengthen school and community health policies, and ensure quality care reaches every family in 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨.

Gidasig sa Department of Health (DOH) ang mga ginikanan ug tig-atiman, mga eskwelahan, ug mga sakop sa komunidad nga suportahan ang National Deworming Program karong bulan sa Hulyo. Ang deworming o pagpurga usa ka luwas, epektibo, ug kasaligan nga pamaagi sa pagpanalipod sa mga bata batok sa mga bitok sa tina-i. Kon dili matambalan, ang impeksyon sa bitok mahimong hinungdan sa kakulang sa nutrisyon, nalangan nga pagtubo, ug pagkunhod sa abilidad sa bata sa pagkat-on ug pag-angkon og kahibalo.

Ang Albendazole usa ka luwas ug epektibo nga tambal nga dugay nang gigamit sa mga programa sa panglawas alang sa pagpurga sa mga bata nga nag edad Usa (1) ka tuig ngadto sa disi-nwebe (19) ka tuig. Adunay pipila ka mga bata nga mahimong makasinati og gagmay ug temporaryong side effects sama sa pagsakit sa tiyan, pagsuka, hilanat, pagkalibang, ug rashes sa panit. Kasagaran, kini dili seryoso o temporary lamang ug mawala ra pinaagi sa hustong pag-atiman.

Ginaaghat usab ang publiko nga mosalig lamang sa opisyal ug kasaligan nga mga tinubdan sa impormasyon. Likayi ang pagpakaylap sa sayop o bakak nga impormasyon (fake news), kay kini mahimong hinungdan nga magduha-duha ang mga ginikanan sa pagpapurga sa ilang mga anak ug makababag sa pagpanalipod sa ilang kahimsog.

Ang DOH magpadayon sa pagpanalipod sa kahimsog sa mga batang Pilipino pinaagi sa paghatag og luwas, epektibo, ug kasaligan nga mga programa sa panglawas.
