Assalamu Alaikum! Army Engineers-Building for Peace, Ready to Serve

On 23 June 2025, personnel of Charlie (WE GET IT DONE) Company, 545th Engineer (Peace Seeker) Battalion, 54th Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, led by 1LT MAVERICK L. ACIERDA (CE) PA, conducted a meaningful Community Engagement and Follow-up Visit at Sapie Elementary School, Barangay Paligue, Indanan, Sulu.

Charlie Company proudly upholds its mission to serve the Filipino people—not just through security operations, but by actively participating in humanitarian efforts that uplift communities. This mission was clearly demonstrated during our recent engagement at Sapie Elementary School — a project that stands as a beacon of hope, unity, and transformation.

The school was built on a lot generously donated by a couple from the Sapie family, whose selfless act reflects their deep desire to contribute to a better future for their community. Even more inspiring is the presence of volunteer teachers who continue to serve the school despite receiving no salary. Their dedication and sacrifice speak volumes about the community’s collective commitment to education and progress.

Charlie Company’s involvement in this initiative is a testament to our unwavering support for local efforts that promote peace, education, and development. By working hand in hand with the community and recognizing the sacrifices of those who contribute selflessly, we help create a positive environment where children can learn, dream, and grow.

Through this partnership, we strengthen not only infrastructure but also the foundations of peace and unity. Charlie Company remains committed to being a force for good — standing with communities, honoring sacrifices, and helping build a brighter future for Sulu.

"Together, we build. Together, we serve." 💛

Assalamu Alaikum! Army Engineers—Building for Peace, Ready to Serve!

On 17 June 2025, the personnel of Charlie (WE GET IT DONE) Company, 545th Engineer (Peace Seeker) Battalion, 54th Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, led by 1LT MAVERICK L ACIERDA (CE) PA, gathered for a meaningful Consolidated Mess at ATO Complex, Brgy. Liang, Patikul, Sulu.

The activity commenced with a solemn Grace Before Meal, offering thanks for the blessings received, the fellowship among comrades, and the continued safety of every soldier. This collective dining experience served not only to nourish the body, but to strengthen the bonds of unity, brotherhood, and service within the unit.

As members of the Philippine Army, we recognize that discipline, respect, and shared values are built not only in training grounds and combat zones, but also around the humble table of shared meals.

"A united table reflects a united force. When we eat together, we grow together," said 1LT ACIERDA.

Assalamu Alaikum! Army Engineers—Building for Peace, Ready to Serve!

On 15 June 2025, in celebration of Father’s Day 2025, personnel of Charlie (WE GET IT DONE) Company, 545th Engineer (Peace Seeker) Battalion, 54th Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, led by 1LT MAVERICK L ACIERDA (CE) PA, conducted a series of meaningful activities dedicated to honoring all fathers—both in uniform and in the community.

Prior to the activity, Catholic personnel attended a Holy Mass on 0800 at Mt. Carmel Cathedral, Jolo, Sulu, offering prayers of thanksgiving for the gift of fatherhood, guidance, and the strength to serve both family and nation with honor.

This was followed by a Coastal Clean-Up Drive on 1000H held at Quezon Beach, Igasan, Patikul, Sulu, demonstrating the Company’s commitment to environmental responsibility and community service—core values that reflect the essence of being both a soldier and a father.

After the activity, all personnel gathered for a Boodle Fight, beginning with a solemn Grace Before Meal, giving thanks for the blessings of food, fellowship, and shared purpose. The meal symbolized not just nourishment, but the unity and brotherhood that bind every member of the Armed Forces.

These simple yet meaningful acts remind us that the heart of service lies not only in defending the land, but in protecting our people, our environment, and the values that sustain us.

“Fathers are not just providers; they are peacebuilders. Through their words, actions, and values, they have the power to shape peaceful homes, just communities, and a united nation.” said 1LT ACIERDA.
