A fallen tree incident occurred earlier today in Martirez Street, San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu 🚨

Thankfully, the Barangay Responders of Barangay San Raymundo Local Government Unit headed by 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙪 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣 𝙄𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙨, BDRRM Officer ( thru the instruction of our 𝑉𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑃𝐵 𝐾𝐼𝑀 𝑈𝐷𝐷𝐼𝑁 ), swiftly acted to address this emergency, working alongside other agencies.
We commend their quick response and dedication to ensuring the safety of our community. 🫡

While the incident resulted in some damages, including:
- 2 houses
- 2 electricity poles
- 2 solar lights
- Some plantings belonging to the DENR office

We are grateful that no injuries were reported.

The San Raymundo Bdrrmo are currently working to clear the fallen tree and restore normalcy to the area.

The Barangay San Raymundo Local Government Unit BDRRMO participated in an Awareness of Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties event held at Jolo Municipal.

Mr. Alkhabir Ompil, representing the BDRRM Officer, Alhakem Alpapara, and Ahmadzhibana Mutalib were in attendance.

This event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of bombs and their potential consequences, emphasizing the importance of safety and preventive measures.

The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management (BDRRM) headed by DATU AMINUDDIN IDRIS, BDRRM Officer, recently extended their helping hands on the fallen tree at Martirez Road.

The incident necessitated a swift and coordinated response to ensure the safety and well-being of all affected individuals.

In addition to the efforts of the BDRRM, we extend our gratitude to the 35th Ib for their supplementary support in this matter.
