LOOK | In line with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)’s Privacy Awareness Week 2026 celebration, Dr. Angelo P. Asignacion, Division Chief of the Information and Cybersecurity Division, emphasized the importance of ensuring information security in the National ID system through the “Digital National ID and the Data Protection Knowledge Exchange Series.”

His discussion highlighted the National ID system’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ personal information through robust data protection measures, advanced encryption technologies, and secure systems that is aligned with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

With the theme, “ANAMNESIS: Looking Back and Moving Forward,” the PSA continues to champion data privacy rights and responsible digital governance while ensuring that its services, such as the National ID, is within reach of every Filipino.

The Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) of Sorsogon joined the “Bridge to Benefits: The PIO Information Caravan at SM City Sorsogon on 29 April 2026. The caravan was organized through the Sorsogon Communicators Network (SorComNet) and the Barangay Information and Outreach Network (BION) and featured National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Government Financial Institutions (GFIs) with the focus of empowering the Public Information Officers and the public with a “whole-of-nation” approach in public service and accessibility of benefits.

TARA NA SA PSA OPEN HOUSE!🎉🏢

Nakikiisa ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) sa pagdiriwang ng !

Alinsunod sa Proclamation No. 916, s. 2025, itinalaga ang ikatlong linggo ng Mayo bilang “Open Government Week.” Kasabay nito, ipinagdiriwang din ang ika-15 taon ng Open Government Partnership (OGP), isang pandaigdigang inisyatiba na nagsusulong ng transparency, accountability, at public participation.

Bilang bahagi nito, inaanyayahan ng PSA ang publiko na makilahok sa PSA Open House Day na gaganapin ngayon na 21 May 2026, mula 8:00 AM hanggang 5:00 PM sa 2nd & 3rd Floor Clemente Bldg.,Garcia St. Sulucan, Sorsogon City at sa lahat ng PSA Offices nationwide.
