At about 3:00 PM of August 24, 2026, PLT EDITHO U TALISON, Newly Installed Officer-in-Charge of RT Lim Municipal Police Station, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Dra. Reina Grace P. Vista, Vice Mayor of RT Lim, as part of the continuing effort to strengthen coordination and foster a strong partnership between the Philippine National Police and the Local Government Unit.

Drug buy-bust operation at Purok Cadena De Amor, Barangay Don Perfecto, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay resulted in the arrest of a 48 years old, male, married, Fish Vendor

Confiscated during the said operation were: Five (5) pcs small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with an estimated total weight of 0.83 gram and SDP of Php 5,644.00.

The accomplishment underscores the relentless efforts of law enforcement authorities in curbing the proliferation of illegal drugs and protecting the community from their harmful effects.

STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY SECURITY | OPLAN GALUGAD

RT Lim Municipal Police Station led by PLT EDITHO U. TALISON, Officer-in-Charge, in collaboration with AFP 106th IB/CAA Ali Alsree, RT Lim MENRO in coordination with the Barangay Officials of Barangay Gango, headed by Hon. Ramon T. Mopon, Barangay Captain, conducted Saturation Drive/Oplan Galugad at Brgy. Gango, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay.

The joint activity demonstrates the strong partnership among the PNP, AFP, local government, barangay officials and the community in promoting peace and order, preventing criminal activities, and ensuring the safety and security of residents.

Through continuous coordination, strengthened police visibility, and community partnership, the RT Lim MPS remains steadfast in delivering responsive, proactive, and community-oriented police service.

At about 8:00 AM on August 20, 2026, personnel of RT Lim MPS, led by PLT EDITHO U. TALISON, Officer-in-Charge, visited Barangay Gango and conducted the KAPEHAN activity, β€œKaagapay ang Pulisya sa Epektibong Hangarin na Ayusin ang Nasasakupan.”

The activity gave the police and residents a chance to talk openly about their concerns, needs, and other issues in the community. It also helped strengthen cooperation between the police and the people in keeping the area peaceful and safe.

Through KAPEHAN, RT Lim MPS continues to bring police services closer to the community and build trust, unity, and better understanding between police officers and residents.
