IN PHOTOS | ANTI- DRUGS SYMPOSIUM AND YOUTH CRIMINALITY, HIV, TEENAGE PREGNANCY AND MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SUCCESFULLY CONDUCTED IN CELEBRATION OF LINGGO NAN KABATAAN 2026
The Linggo Nan Kabataan (LNK) 2026 was successfully conducted by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Dapa Chapter, spearheaded by Hon. Kathrina A. Luego, SK Federated President, in collaboration with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) and in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU), headed by Dr. Noemi Peavy Lagurra, Municipal Health Officer, and the Dapa Municipal Police Station (Dapa MPS), headed by PCPT Byrne Mentero, ACOP.
Dr. Noemi Peavy Lagurra discussed important issues concerning Teenage Pregnancy, HIV Awareness, and Mental Health, providing valuable information and guidance to the youth.
Meanwhile, PCPT Byrne Mentero, ACOP tackled two crucial topics: Drug Awareness and Youth Criminality, emphasizing the importance of making responsible choices, staying away from illegal drugs, and understanding the consequences of involvement in criminal activities.
The activity was attended by student leaders from SNSHS, SNSDI, DNHS, and SIIT-SHS, as well as Out-of-School Youth (OSY) and members of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC).
This initiative reflects our shared commitment to empowering, educating, and protecting the youth of Dapa toward a safer, healthier, and more responsible community.
