The activity featured insightful discussions from our resource speakers:
• Mr. John Vincent C. Pimentel, Provincial Administrator, who shared valuable perspectives on Leadership Skills and Mindset
• Ms. Metchel Verona, who discussed Members Growth and Engagement

The event also showcased a Mini Trade Fair, highlighting locally produced products from Surigao del Sur—promoting MSMEs and celebrating the richness of our local industries.

The Provincial Government of Surigao del Sur, through the PGO–Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotions Unit (PEDIPU), together with the Association of Business Permits and Licensing Officers of Surigao del Sur (BPLOs), continues to advance a more efficient and streamlined Business Permits and Licensing System in compliance with RA 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Act.

This initiative reinforces our commitment to faster transactions, transparent processes, and a more business-friendly environment for all.

Strengthening partnerships and opening new opportunities for the coconut industry 🌴🤝

The PGO–PEDIPU, together with the Board of Investments (BOI) Supervising Investments Specialist Irwin Jayson Neri Jamaca, Engr. Dionilito Bagnol of Diolan Coconut Products Manufacturing, Engr. Nazareno of TACOFACO, Victor L. Pantaleon (Civil Society Organization Focal Person), and W***y Perez conducted a meeting and site visit at Haycarb Philippine Corporation, an activated carbon manufacturer in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The activity was held in coordination with General Manager Nandun Hettiarachchi and Senior Manager for Business Development Nuwan Rupasinghe. The group also visited Daesang Corporation to observe operations and gain valuable insights into industry best practices.

This initiative highlights a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration, exploring new market opportunities, and advancing the growth and promotion of local coconut-based enterprises.

Planning a trip to the Enchanted River or our local spots? Please be advised of the new Tourism Fee starting this April 1, 2026:
🔹 Fee: ₱50.00 (General Access)
🔹 Location: Hinatuan Night Harbour (Poblacion)
🔹 Purpose: For better visitor orientation and environmental conservation.
Note: This is separate from individual attraction entrance fees.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Local Government Unit of Hinatuan hereby informs the public that a Tourism Fee of Fifty Pesos (₱50.00) shall be collected from tourists or non-Hinatuan residents, including Hinatuanons who are not currently residing in the municipality, starting April 1, 2026.

The fee will be collected at the Mandatory Tourist Drop-Off Point located at Hinatuan Night Harbour in Poblacion as part of the municipality’s system to streamline tourist registration, facilitate the efficient collection of tourism-related fees including the entrance fee of Enchanted River, and provide proper visitor orientation.

The ₱50.00 Tourism Fee serves as a general access fee for visitors intending to visit tourist attractions throughout the Municipality; however, it does not include the entrance fee required in every tourist attraction.

This initiative aims to ensure the orderly flow of tourists while supporting tourism development, environmental protection, conservation efforts, infrastructure maintenance, and other tourism-related services. All visitors are advised to comply with this policy and coordinate with authorized personnel upon arrival.
