20 NEW ELECTRIC BUSES COMING TO DAVAO BY DECEMBER 2026
Davao City is set to receive 20 additional electric buses by December 2026, a major step forward for our local public transportation system.
This new batch of buses will expand and strengthen the existing DC Bus Interim Service, covering more routes and reaching more commuters across the city. This means shorter waiting times, more comfortable rides, and better accessibility for everyone—whether you’re heading to work, school, or running daily errands.
Beyond convenience, this initiative also shifts us toward cleaner, greener mobility. Unlike traditional diesel vehicles, electric buses produce zero tailpipe emissions, helping reduce air pollution and lower our carbon footprint. This aligns with efforts to keep Davao a healthy, livable, and sustainable city for all residents.
This development is part of the broader Davao Public Transport Modernization Project, which aims to upgrade our transport network with safer, more efficient, and people-centered solutions. It reflects a commitment to progress—one that prioritizes both the needs of the public and the care of our environment.
