The Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP), CARAGA Chapter, held the 2nd Quarterly Meeting at Pavillion Hall, Enchanted River, Hinatuan Surigao del Sur on May 21–22, 2026.

The Municipal Vice Mayor of Lingig, Hon. Arnold T. Malaque, together with the other Vice Mayors of the Province of Surigao del Sur, brought together to coordinate on local governance issues, share best practices, and strengthen cooperation among local government units.

The Committee of the Whole and the Committee on Appropriation, Ways and Means of the Sangguniang Bayan of Lingig successfully conducted the Public Hearing on May 20, 2026 at Multi Purpose Hall (Municipal Gymnasium) Poblacion, Lingig Surigao del Sur on the following:

1. Propose Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-54, entitled, "An Ordinance Imposing the Revised Fees and Charges for the Rental of the Municipal Gymnasium and the Use of the LED Wall Screen."

2. Propose Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-55, entitled, "An Ordinance Imposing the Revised Fare Matrix for Three- Wheeled (Public Transport) Vehicles (Payong-Payong, Bao-Bao, and other similar public transport vehicles) operating within the Municipality of Lingig."

Ang Committee of the Whole ug ang Committee on Appropriation, Ways and Means sa Sangguniang Bayan sa Lingig, inubanan sa Municipal Treasurer's Office, Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office (MEEDO), ug Municipal Tricycle Operator's Regulatory Board (MTORB), mapainubsanon nga nagaimbitar sa tibuok komunidad alang sa aktibong pag-apil sa usa ka mahinungdanong public hearing nga pagahimoon karong Mayo 20, 2026, alas 2:00 sa hapon, sa Multi-purpose Building (Municipal Gymnasium), Poblacion, Lingig, Surigao del Sur, mahitungod sa mosunod:

1. Gisugyot nga Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-54 nga adunay ulohan: "Usa ka Ordinansa nga Nagpatuman sa Giusab nga Bayronon ug Singil alang sa Pag-abang sa Municipal Gymnasium ug sa Paggamit sa Paggamit sa LED Wall Screen."

2. Gisugyot nga Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-55 nga adunay ulohan: "Usa ka Ordinansa nga Nagpatuman sa Giusab nga Fare Matrix alang sa mga Three-Wheeled (Public Transport) Vehicles sama sa Payong-Payong, Bao- Bao, ug uban pang susamang pampublikong sakyanan nga nag-operate sulod sa Munisipyo sa Lingig."

Gihatagan namo og dakong bili ang inyong mga opinyon ug mainiton nga ginadasig ang tanan sa pagtambong niini nga kalihokan. Ang inyong presensya importante kaayo tungod kay kini naghatag og kahigayonan kaninyo sa pagpaambit sa inyong bililhong mga ideya ug mga panan-aw.

Ang inyong partisipasyon mahinungdanon sa pagpalambo niining importante nga ordinansa, ug nagpaabot kami sa inyong presensya ug mga kontribusyon.
