LOOK | The personnel of 805th Maneuver Company, RMFB8, led by Pat Mark Reynald Navarrosa, HRDD PNCO, under the leadership of PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-In-Charge, successfully conducted its monthly ISO proficiency firing, supervised by PCpl Gibson L Goles, Range Officer & Investigation PNCO, held at LeySam Firing Range, San Jose, Tacloban City, today, August 28, 2026.

The aim of this activity is to provide objective evidence of our testing accuracy. Regular calibration ensures that our tools, environments, and team members perform consistently and accurately, supporting compliance with global quality management standards and minimizing the risk of error.

805th MC Personnel Participate in Blood Donation Activity at EVMC

TACLOBAN CITY – Personnel of the 805th Maneuver Company, RMFB8, led by Pat Damme Van C. Macasadog, Assistant Community Affairs Section (CAS) PNCO, under the leadership of PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-in-Charge, responded to a call for blood donation and actively participated in a blood donation activity held at the Eastern Visayas Medical Center (EVMC), Brgy. 93, Bagacay, Tacloban City, at about 10:00 A.M. on August 27, 2026.

The personnel voluntarily donated blood in response to the urgent need, helping augment the blood supply for a patient in need. Their immediate response demonstrates the 805th MC’s commitment to extending assistance to those in need and supporting humanitarian efforts in the community.

PCPT SERNA said, “Kapag may nangangailangan ng dugo, bawat minuto ay mahalaga. Sa simpleng pag-aalay ng dugo, maaari tayong maging dahilan upang mailigtas ang isang buhay. Ang aming personnel ay laging handang tumulong sa abot ng aming makakaya.”.

805th MC Attends Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition in Basey, Samar

TACLOBAN CITY – PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-in-Charge of the 805th Maneuver Company, RMFB8, attended the Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition (SIPSC) held at the Covered Court of Brgy. Mercado, Basey, Samar, on August 27, 2026.

The activity formally recognized the municipality’s achievement of a stable and peaceful security environment, where insurgency and other internal security threats have been significantly weakened and effectively addressed through the collaborative efforts of the Local Government Units (LGUs), Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other partner stakeholders.

Also present during the activity were Hon. Luz Chu Ponferrada, Municipal Mayor of Basey, Samar; Mr. Judy L. Batulan, Provincial Director of DILG Samar; PLTCOL REYNALDO L ROLLO, Chief of the Provincial Plans and Programs Unit ; MGEN PETER B. BURGONIO, Commander, 8th Infantry Division; BGEN POMPEYO JASON M. ALMAGRO, Commander, 802nd Infantry Brigade; LTC RICKY JAMES L. ROSALEJOS, Commanding Officer, 63rd Infantry Battalion; and PMAJ AILEEN VELARDE, Chief of Police, Basey MPS.

The declaration marks a significant milestone in the municipality’s peace and security efforts and highlights the importance of sustained collaboration among government agencies, security forces, local communities, and other stakeholders.
This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the government and security forces to maintaining peace and order, strengthening public safety, and promoting sustainable development in the Province of Samar through unity, partnership, and continued cooperation.

PCPT SERNA said, “The declaration of a Stable Internal Peace and Security Condition is a testament to what can be achieved through unity, cooperation, and sustained commitment to peace and security. 805th MC Aids in the Voluntary Surrender of UGMO Member

TACLOBAN CITY – The 805th Maneuver Company under the leadership of PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-In-Charge, spearheaded by PLTCOL DIONESIO A MAESTRE, Acting Force Commander, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8, successfully assisted the voluntary surrender of an Underground Mass Organization member (UGMO) during combat operation, today, August 26, 2026 at Brgy. Aslum, Sta. Rita, Samar.

The surrenderee was identified as alias “Ka Tony”, 70 years old, farmer and a resident Sitio Salcedo, Brgy. Old Manunca, Sta. Rita, Samar. Non-PSR listed, UGMO, member of SRC, SESAME “APOY Plt”, and a former member of the Regional Guerilla Unit (RGU) CN: BANOG formerly headed by “Ka Adong” (TNU), under the operational sphere of SECCOM South Samar 2 (SS2) SRC CN: ALPHINE, operating in the areas of Sta. Rita and Basey Samar.

Operating troops led by PLT AZZEDINE T KAMLIAN, 1st Maneuver Platoon Leader, while conducting combat operations, together with the 805th MC PMF 10-Man Team, led by PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-In-Charge, successfully facilitated the voluntary surrender of the aforementioned individual. The subject is currently under the custody of the 805th Maneuver Company and undergoing assessment for potential enrollment in the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

Likewise, the subject turned in one (1) unit revolver of undetermined caliber along with three (3) rounds of live ammunition. Both the surrenderee and the surrendered items are in the custody of this unit for documentation and proper disposition.

PCPT SERNA commended the dedicated efforts and vigilance of the 805th MC personnel, emphasizing their commitment to sustaining peace and facilitating the return of former rebels to mainstream society.

805th MC, RMFB 8: CONDUCTS SQUAD WEEKLY INTERACTIVE MEETING

LOOK | The 805th Maneuver Company, RMFB 8, under the supervision of PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-in-Charge, conducted its Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting at the Company Headquarters, Brgy. 97, Cabalawan, Tacloban City, today, August 26, 2026.

The activity was facilitated by Pastor Jester Lagunzad, a member of the CAGPTD Religious Sector. During the session, Pastor Lagunzad discussed the topic " LEAVE A LEGACY” reminding the personnel that our greatest legacy is not what we leave for the next generation, but what we teach and build in them.

Pastor Lagunzad also emphasized that our life is a legacy that can inspire the next generation. By living faithfully, showing love, teaching God’s Word, and setting a good example, we can leave a lasting impact on others. May our lives reflect God’s goodness and guide the next generation to know, love, and serve Him.

805th MC Strengthens Anti-Terrorism Awareness in Basey, Samar

TACLOBAN CITY – Personnel of the 805th Maneuver Company , RMFB 8, led by PSSg Zaldy P Matobato, Senior Platoon PNCO, and PCpl Anton Jhon R Abiertas, Operations PNCO under the leadership of PCPT MARDY I SERNA, Officer-in-Charge, conducted an Anti-Terrorism Awareness Symposium during the reactivation and sustainability activity of the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Basey Chapter at the Covered Court of Brgy. Mercado, Basey, Samar.

The symposium focused on strengthening youth participation and collaboration in preventing illegal drugs, violent radicalization, terrorism, and other criminal influences. It was attended by student leaders, secondary school advisers, SK Chairpersons, and representatives from various youth sectors.

The activity aimed to enhance the participants’ awareness of terrorism-related threats and the importance of the youth in promoting peace, security, and community resilience.

PCPT SERNA said "ang kahalagahan ng pagbibigay sa kabataan ng sapat na kaalaman at kamalayan laban sa terorismo at iba pang masasamang impluwensya ay makakatulong upang hindi malinlang ang kanilang kaisipan at makatulong sila sa iba pang mga kabataan patungkol sa gawain ng terorismo.
