BOSH for SO1 is intended for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with less than 50 employees.
This training consists of a 10-hour OSH orientation and a 2-hour Training of Trainers, designed to impart essential knowledge and skills on the basic concepts and principles of occupational safety and health. It aims to equip potential safety officers (SO1 certification) with the competence to effectively implement their respective company’s safety and health program.

Please be reminded of the following:
We will NOT accept…
❌ More than 2 registrants per company
❌ Registrants who do not meet the minimum technological requirements
❌ Potentially high-risk establishments (Refer to DO 252 s. 2025)

Participants are required to use:
✔️ A laptop or desktop with an internal/external we**am and microphone
✔️ Spreadsheet and presentation viewing/editing programs such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Numbers, Keynote, etc.
✔️ A stable internet connection (e.g., Fiber Wi-Fi). For mobile broadband users, a minimum LTE connection is recommended. For those with data limits (prepaid cellular/mobile data), an 8 GB data allowance/promo per day is recommended.

Please be advised on the Online Training Etiquette we observe:

Earlier today, the Occupational Safety and Health Center Regional Extension Unit VIII (OSHC REU8) joined the Mayor’s Employment Generation Activity (MEGA) Job Fair held at the Tacloban City Convention Center.

During the activity, OSHC REU8 shared information and answered questions from jobseekers, employees, and employers about workplace safety and health, while encouraging everyone to promote safer and healthier workplaces.

The event was organized by the Tacloban City Public Employment Service Office under the City Government of Tacloban.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114 issued by the Presidential Communications Office, the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) will implement a four-day onsite workweek until further notice.

Under this arrangement, the following work schedule shall apply:
