We would like to inform the residents of Area I (Buntay I and Veloso Compound) that the dengue fogging operations were successfully conducted on August 24, 2026, and August 27, 2026.

This proactive measure was immediately carried out following confirmed dengue cases in the area to help control the mosquito population and protect our families from further transmission.

Our deepest gratitude goes to City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, through City Health Officer Dr. Opinion, for the prompt and positive response to our request.

Special recognition and appreciation also go to our Punong Barangay Hon. Ma. Lo**ta Quiambao and Hon. Gaspar Jr. Dumdum (Committee Chairman on Health) for their leadership, active coordination, and relentless dedication to prioritizing the health and welfare of our community! πŸ™βœ¨

🚨 HEALTH ADVISORY & OCULAR INSPECTION: Dengue Response in Area 1 (Veloso Compound) 🚨

To ensure the safety and well-being of our community, Hon. Gaspar Jr. M. Dumdum, Chairman of the Committee on Health, conducted an immediate Ocular Inspection yesterday, August 18, 2026 (Tuesday), at Area 1 (Veloso Compound), following one (1) confirmed Dengue case reported in the area.

The inspection aimed to assess potential mosquito breeding sites, coordinate localized vector control measures, and remind residents to stay vigilant.

We strongly urge all residents, especially in Area 1, to strictly practice the DOH 4S Strategy:
1. Search and Destroy mosquito breeding places (clear stagnant water in tires, pots, and open containers).
2. Self-Protection Measures (use insect repellent, wear long sleeves/pants).
3. Seek Early Consultation if experiencing fever.
4. Say Yes to Fogging/Spraying during imminent outbreaks.

On August 10, 2026 (Monday), Hon. Gaspar Dumdum Jr. (Chairman, Committee on Health), together with our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), and Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPO), actively conducted a house-to-house Dengue Search and Destroy operation to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.

Alongside the anti-dengue campaign, the team also went around for information dissemination regarding the upcoming Measles-Rubella and Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) happening on August 17–18, 2026, right here in our barangay.
