On the first Friday of the month, 8 women already took the courageous step of prioritizing their health and well-being.

LGU Taft successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Local Health Board Meeting, bringing together key stakeholders to review health programs, assess community needs, and strengthen strategies for better public health services.

This year marks the successful launch of PuroKalusugan, and we are proud to announce that among the three PK sites, Brgy. Del Remedios has been recognized as the Most Outstanding PuroKalusugan Barangay.

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering leadership of our dedicated Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Imelda Gertrudes A. Abenio, and the steadfast support of our local executive, Hon. Mayor Gina Ty .

❗️1 SA 5 NA NAMAMATAY NA PLHIV AY DAHIL SA TB❗️

Mas mataas ang posibilidad na magka-TB ang isang PLHIV dahil sa mahinang immune system. Kapag hindi naagapan, maaaring magdulot ito ng malubhang komplikasyon na posibleng humantong sa kamatayan.

Ang HIV at TB co-infection ay maiiwasan sa pamamagitan ng regular na TB screening, tuloy-tuloy na pag-inom ng antiretroviral therapy (ART), at paggamit ng Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (TPT).
