The MMMSFI committed to rehabilitate the isolation room for bone cancer patients at the Children’s Ward of the Philippine Orthopedic Center in September 2017. The project was completed and formally turned over to the hospital last June 27, 2019.

After the Central Garden, the next completed project of the MMMSFI for PGH was the Kangaroo Mother Care Room that today serves as a breastfeeding station for lactating mothers. The project turnover and unveiling of the marker was held on December 5, 2018.

2ND METRO MANILA MAYORS’ INVITATIONAL GOLF CUP WINNERS.

Winners in the various categories of the 2nd Metro Manila Mayors Invitational Golf Cup held last Wednesday, 25 April 2018 at the Tagaytay Midlands Golf and Country Club, display their trophies during the awards ceremony which was also attended by officers of the Metro Manila Mayors Spouses Foundation, Inc., the main beneficiary of the charity golf event.

FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER.

Members of the Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses Foundation, Inc. led by its president, Ms Janet A. Olivarez of Parañaque City (third from right), turn over a symbolic key to celebrity philanthropist Ricky Reyes (third from left) representing the Foundation’s donation of a brand new Mitsubishi L-300 closed van to the Center for Help Improvement and Life Development or CHILD Haus. The center provides temporary shelter and food to children with cancer, as well as their parents and guardians who are mostly from the provinces, seeking treatment in government hospitals in Metro Manila, and the donated vehicle will be used to bring the children to and from the hospitals during checkups and treatment.

MAYORS' SPOUSES FOUNDATION BRINGS PGH CENTRAL GARDEN BACK TO LIFE.

The Metro Manila Mayors' Spouses Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Philippine General Hospital, has successfully undertaken the rehabilitation of the PGH Central Garden as part of its projects to uplift the lives of poor and underprivileged constituents not only in the National Capital Region but the rest of the country as well. The garden offers relaxation and hope to PGH patients and relatives by serving as a quiet refuge from stress and fatigue.
