The Municipality of Tagoloan successfully celebrated Safe Motherhood Month 2026 today at the Evacuation Center in Dimayon, Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte, uniting healthcare workers, local officials, barangay health workers, and community participants in promoting maternal and child health awareness.

The activity is a joint program of 𝘿𝙊𝙃-𝘾𝙃𝘿𝙉𝙈, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 (𝙋𝙃𝙊), and 𝙇𝙂𝙐-𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙣, highlighting the importance of safe pregnancy, maternal care, proper nutrition, prenatal check-ups, and accessible healthcare services for mothers and newborns.

The municipality proudly acknowledges the valuable discussions and health education shared by the invited speakers from the Provincial Health Office: 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙖 𝙊. 𝙅𝙪𝙩𝙗𝙖, 𝘿𝘿𝙈 𝙄𝙄𝙄, 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨 𝘾. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨, 𝘿𝘿𝙈 𝙄𝙄, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙤 𝘾. 𝙉𝙚𝙧𝙞, 𝘿𝘿𝙈 𝙄𝙄, and 𝙆𝙝𝙧𝙮𝙨𝙨𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙅. 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙖, 𝙍𝙉, whose expertise contributed greatly to the success and impact of the event.

The Municipality of Tagoloan, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, will conduct the celebration of Safe Motherhood Month 2026 on May 21, 2026 at the Evacuation Center, Dimayon, Tagoloan, Lanao del Norte.

The upcoming activity aims to promote awareness on maternal and child health, emphasizing the importance of safe pregnancy, regular prenatal care, proper nutrition, and quality healthcare services for mothers and newborns.

Health professionals, local officials, and community partners are expected to participate in the event as part of the continuing commitment to ensure safer motherhood and healthier communities. The celebration also seeks to encourage women and families to prioritize maternal healthcare and support programs available in the municipality.

With the theme, “𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙 𝙣𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙄𝙣𝙖, 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙤𝙡 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙮𝙖.” the activity highlights the shared responsibility of the community in protecting the lives of mothers and children.

The Rural Health Unit of RHU-Tagoloan successfully conducted a Medical Mission across the seven barangays of the Municipality of Tagoloan Barangay Dalamas, Inagongan, Dimayon, Kiazar, Darimbang, Malimbato, and Panalawan bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.

This successful initiative was made possible through the guidance and supervision of 𝓓𝓻. 𝓑𝓪𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓪 𝓜. 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓵𝓪-𝓐𝓵𝓪𝔀𝓲, whose dedication and commitment to public health continue to inspire genuine service to the people.

The Rural Health Unit of Tagoloan successfully conducted the first day of the Free Circumcision (Libreng Tuli) Program in Barangay Malimbato. All clients underwent proper pre-circumcision procedures under the supervision of Dr. Baemona M. Montila- Alawi and with secured parent/guardian consent. The activity was carried out smoothly with the support of our dedicated health personnel, ensuring safe and quality service for all beneficiaries.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Officials of Malimbato for their cooperation and assistance in the successful implementation of this program.
