๐โจ Celebrating a Historic Milestone of Hope and Achievement โจ๐
On July 1, 2026, under the leadership of JINSP CEASAR B PALER, Tagoloan Municipal Jail proudly conducted its 1st Alternative Learning System (ALS) Graduation Program, recognizing the dedication, perseverance, and determination of our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) who successfully completed their educational journey.
The program commenced with a processional march and was attended by distinguished guests, DepEd officials, ALS educators, BJMP personnel, and stakeholders, whose continued support strengthens educational initiatives within the jail facility.
On behalf of JSSUPT GIL V INOPIA JR. (ARDA), JSUPT NEIL FELIPE C RAMO delivered the Words of Thought, emphasizing the importance of education as a powerful tool for rehabilitation and personal transformation. Ms. Merlie B Emano, Dept. Head of PESO Office delivered the inspirational message on behalf of HON. NADYA E ELIPE, Municipal Mayor of Tagoloan. The graduates were further inspired by the keynote address of Jhustine Kym R. Naduma, who encouraged them to continue pursuing their dreams through education, resilience, and hard work.
Prior to the commencement of the graduation ceremony, media partners iFM Cagayan de Oro and DXCC RMN Cagayan de Oro interviewed the Jail Warden, highlighting the significance of the ALS Program and its vital role in rehabilitation, education, and personal transformation.
A total of six (6) ALS completers were recognized during the ceremony, consisting of two (2) Junior High School completers and four (4) Elementary completers. Their achievement stands as a testament to the transformative power of education and the belief that learning creates opportunities for growth, hope, and a second chance at a better future.
As Tagoloan Municipal Jail celebrates its first-ever ALS Graduation Program, it reaffirms its unwavering commitment to rehabilitation, personal development, and empowering individuals through education. This milestone reflects the collective efforts of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Department of Education (DepEd), partner agencies, and stakeholders in fostering positive change and building safer communities.
๐ Congratulations to our ALS graduates on this remarkable achievement! May this milestone serve as the foundation for greater opportunities, renewed purpose, and continued success. Your determination reminds us that education has the power to transform lives and inspire hope.
Education transforms. Hope restores. Every achievement marks a new beginning. ๐๐
