Fifteen years of open government through the Open Government Partnership (OGP) have shown what’s possible when governments and citizens work together.

Today, the need is even clearer. Governments face growing complexity, and trust in institutions is under pressure. People expect to be more involved in decisions that affect their lives.

Open government responds by improving how decisions are made, through transparency, participation, and accountability.

This Open Gov Week, we are hosting an event in the DILG Regional Office to bring these ideas into practice locally.
