Project SARAI CeNTRO successfully wrapped up its three-day participation in the 2026 MIMAROPA Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) held on 17–19 August 2026 in Odiongan, Romblon, showcasing its continuing efforts to promote science-based, data-driven, and climate-resilient agriculture in the MIMAROPA Region.
Throughout the three-day celebration, Project SARAI CeNTRO showcased its technologies and services through a dedicated exhibit booth, highlighting science-based tools that support agricultural monitoring, climate-informed planning, and farm decision-making.
Project SARAI CeNTRO also contributed to the HANDA MIMAROPA segment, where Engr. Renel Angelo M. Taladtad served as a resource speaker and shared how Project SARAI technologies and data-driven approaches can support agricultural communities in strengthening their preparedness and resilience to climate-related risks.
Another significant highlight was the turnover of the Automatic Weather Station (AWS) to the Local Government Unit of Odiongan, Romblon. The AWS will provide localized weather information that can support agricultural monitoring, planning, and the development of timely and location-specific advisories for farmers and other stakeholders.
Through its participation in the 2026 MIMAROPA RSTW, Project SARAI CeNTRO continues to strengthen partnerships and bring science, technology, and innovation closer to agricultural communities, contributing to a smarter, more productive, and climate-resilient agriculture sector in MIMAROPA.
