LOOK | Naval Forces Southern Luzon Excels in Annual General Inspection
Naval Forces Southern Luzon, Philippine Navy turned in an excellent performance during its Annual General Inspection, conducted by the Office of The Inspector General, Philippine Navy on 21–24 July 2026 at the Fleet-Marine Quarterdeck, NFSL, PN, Naval Station Julhasan Arasain, Rawis, Legazpi City.
The inspection, led by The Inspector General, Philippine Navy, Rear Admiral Emilio G Orio Jr PN, comprehensively assessed NFSL, PN's capability to accomplish its mission and mandate.
"The AGI validated the Command's strengths in mission ex*****on and resource utilization," Rear Admiral Orio said during the Exit Briefing, congratulating the Command for its performance and noting that these strengths form the foundation of a unit's operational readiness.
He further encouraged NFSL to sustain this level of performance, pointing out that the Command's strategic geographical location will continue to present complex challenges across the multi-domain operational environment — one that demands constant preparedness and adaptability.
Under the leadership of Commodore Estelito B Lagadia Jr PN, the Command's operational capability, organizational effectiveness, and commitment to its mission were affirmed through the inspection, marking the AGI a resounding success for NFSL, PN.
The result reaffirms NFSL, PN's vital role in safeguarding Southern Luzon and strengthening the Philippine Navy's readiness to respond to evolving maritime security challenges.
