Six more Sangguniang Kabataan councils completed the final stage of the Seal of Good Youth Governance Year 2 evaluation process as the Tagum City Youth and Sports Development, together with the DILG, COA, City Accounting Office, City Budget Office, and City Planning and Development Office, conducted the third day of Document Assessment and Evaluation.

The activity covered the assessment of the Administrative, Legislative, Financial, and Youth Development Agenda documents of the Sangguniang Kabataan councils of Barangay Magugpo South, Magugpo West, Nueva Fuerza, New Balambaan, Mankilam, and Pagsabangan.

As the culminating phase of SGYG Year 2, the evaluation serves as a comprehensive review of each council's governance practices, compliance records, and youth development initiatives.

Opening the SK Functionality Assessment Year 2 visits for May 26, the Tagum City Youth and Sports Development Office, together with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Commission on Audit, and City Accounting Office, conducted its first barangay validation visit out of four scheduled assessments for the day at the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Magugpo South, headed by Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan President and SK Chairperson Hon. Roan Angela G. Rillon, RND.

The onsite assessment covered the validation and checking of the SK Full Disclosure Board, Barangay Youth Development Council records, organizational structure, and the inventory and documentation of properties, equipment, supplies, and other acquired or donated resources from 2023 up to the present.

The activity forms part of the cityโ€™s continuing implementation of the Seal of Good Youth Governance 2026, which aims to further strengthen transparency, accountability, and effective youth-centered governance among Sangguniang Kabataan councils in Tagum City.
