Online- Singing Competition for Tagumenyos
Audition Day : July 6-8, 2020
General Mechanics:
1. The Audition/competition will start on July 6-8, 2020.
2. All participants, ages 21-59 years old and bonafide residents of Tagum City.
3. The participants will be given 3 days to send their videos as audition piece for elimination. This will be done every elimination week.
4. After the elimination week, the chosen contestants will be invited for the second round.
6. The winners will be automatically become the finalists.
7. The Grand Finals will be on December 2020.
Elimination Mechanics:
1. All participants, ages 21-59 years old and a bonafide residents of Tagum City, will sing their song choice in any language as their audition piece;
2. The participant will introduce himself/herself before his/her performance.
3. The performance must be taken in a quiet place; without using microphone; with moderate loudness of accompaniment (minus one) of their song choice.
4. The video taken will be sent to Awitang Tagumpay email address ([email protected])/ page with the following details:

Note: Always consider the criteria before the performance and taking the video.
Elimination Criteria:
1. VOCAL (50%)
Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation
Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music
2. EXPRESSION (30%)
Performance – How well the performer is able to express the meaning and mood of the song
3. SHOWMANSHIP (20%)
Show Design – Music Selection, Effective use of the area where video taken, Outfit and Style
Entertainment Value – The judges’ reaction to the overall performance
• After the elimination round, the management will post the top 16 performers, chosen by our panel of judges, who will proceed to the second round of competition.
• The audition pieces of the top singers will be their pieces for the second round.
Round 2 Mechanics:
1. The management will send a congratulatory letter and an invitation to the chosen participants through Email/messenger.
2. The participants will be invited to come for the second round to the place stated in the invitation letter.
3. The second round performance will be taken during the schedule given to each participant with the CIO personnel.
4. The performance taken will be uploaded to City Government of Tagum and Awitang Tagumpay page every Sunday.
5. The second round-live performance will be judged by the competent judges.
Round 2 Criteria:
1. VOCAL (50%)
Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation

Elimination Round – 1st Prize Php 2,000 + 1 sack rice
2nd Prize Php 1,500 + half sack rice
3rd Prize Php 1,000 + 10 kg rice
Consolation Prize Php 500 + 5 kg rice
Grand Finals- Champion Php 20,000
1st Runner-up Php 15,000
2nd Runner-up Php 10,000
3rd Runner-up Php 8,000
