Random 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁

On August 8, 2026, at about 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, personnel of Tagum City Police Station, led by 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 DENNIS T LADESMA, Officer of the Day, with direct supervision of 𝐏𝐋𝐓𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍, Acting Chief of Police, conducted a Random Checkpoint, Oplan Bakal Sita, and implementation of R.A. No. 4136, along Acadia Street, Timog, Apokon, Tagum City. All passing private and public vehicles were courteously flagged down and subjected to visual inspection to detect the possible concealment of fi****ms and other contraband items.

The activity was conducted in support of the implementation of R.A. No. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and the government's anti-terrorism campaign. It also aimed to intensify anti-criminality operations, deter the commission of crimes, and ensure the safety and security of the public within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

On August 8, 2026, at about 6:49 AM, personnel of Tagum City Police Station conducted police visibility/foot patrol at Tagum Overland Terminal Integrated Terminal (TOTIT), Tagum City, as well as other establishments within Tagum City, as part of their routine patrol operations.

This activity aims to strengthen anti-criminality efforts, enhance public safety, and deter the commission of crimes through increased police presence. It also ensures a sense of security among the public and promotes a safe and orderly environment within the community.

On August 8, 2026, at about 7:02 AM personnel of the Tagum City Police Station conducted police visibility/bike patrol along Bonifanip Street, Tagum City, as well as other establishments within Tagum City, as part of their routine patrol operations.

This activity aims to strengthen anti-criminality efforts, enhance public safety, and deter the commission of crimes through increased police presence. It also ensures a sense of security among the public and promotes a safe and orderly environment within the community.

On August 8, 2026, at about 6:44 AM, personnel of the 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐦 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 under direct supervision of 𝐏𝐋𝐓𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐎 𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍, Acting Chief Of Police, conducted a 𝐦𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 within Tagum City as part of its continuing efforts to ensure public safety and security.

The activity aimed to maintain peace and order, deter criminal activities, prevent untoward incidents, and provide immediate police assistance when necessary. Through increased police visibility and proactive patrol operations, the activity contributed to fostering a safe, secure, and orderly environment for the community.

BUILDING STRONGER PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH SPORTS

In line with fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and stronger inter-agency collaboration, Tagum City Police Station, headed by PLTCOL EDGARDO G BAHAN, ACOP, successfully conducted a Friendly Badminton Match with the RTC Branch 30, Tagum City, headed by HON. SHARON ROSE T. SARACIN, Presiding Judge.

The activity served not only as a recreational and wellness initiative but also as an avenue to strengthen the bond between the Philippine National Police and the Judiciary, promoting mutual respect, unity, and cooperation in the pursuit of justice and public service.

Indeed, beyond the court, this friendly game reflects our shared commitment to building harmonious relationships and working together for a safer and more peaceful community.

On August 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM, PSSg Elaiza Jean O Delos Reyes, PCR Clerk of Tagum City Police Station, conducted a lecture on Republic Act No. 11313, otherwise known as the Safe Spaces Act, and facilitated a film viewing on Republic Act No. 11930, or the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act, at Suaybaguio Riña Elementary School, Barangay Magugpo North, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The activity aimed to raise awareness among the learners on gender sensitivity, respect for safe spaces, and the prevention of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children. It also encouraged students to become vigilant, practice responsible online behavior, and immediately report any form of abuse or exploitation to the proper authorities.

On August 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM, PEMS Joseph M Pagaran, PCR PNCO of Tagum City Police Station, conducted a lecture on Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, at Suaybaguio Riña Elementary School, Barangay Magugpo North, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

The activity aimed to enhance the awareness of learners on the harmful effects of illegal drugs, educate them on the provisions and penalties under RA 9165, and encourage them to make informed and responsible decisions in order to resist peer pressure and avoid involvement in illegal drug-related activities. Likewise, the lecture emphasized the importance of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle, strengthening family and community support, and fostering the active participation of students in promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free school environment.
